Im a multi stan. SHINee, EXO, NCT and Monsta X. To hear you say "SHINee is my favourite kpop group, slightly over EXO", made me smile (ok, i laughed), cos I'd never been able to put one above the other. But for you to make that stand made me totally appreciate how their music, and fashion, must have hit you. As the group that got me into kpop, SHINee willl always have a special place in my heart and I hope you'll keep supporting them and making more videos about them.

The whole reason why they chose "Hard" for their title track is because they wanted to show everyone that SHINee can do any genre, including hip-hop. Although, just to make sure you didn't forget that this was a SHINee song, they couldn't just do straight hip-hop. They had to create this hybride mashup of pop, rock and retro hip-hop, etc. to give this song that SHINee flavor. They killed this!! This will definitely be a contender for album of the year. You can't tell me that you're not singing "hard like a criminal, hard like the beat, hard like ma flow ..." over and over again in your head after hearing this song. LOL We can definitely add "Hard" to SHINee's earworm song list. And the rest of the songs on the album are just as catchy. This is totally an SM/SHINee song. It was wrote by Kenzie, who is an SM songwriter and producer that has wrote a large majority of SM songs. She even has her own studio at SM, that's how much she is involved in SM's sound. However, the SHINee members participate in all aspects of the songwriting and producing, as well. That's why it has that signature SM design, and, yet, it's also very uniquely SHINee. As the SHINee members have said, in the beginning of their career they did whatever they were told to do, however, now that they've been in the industry for more than 15 years, they have learned how to be their own artists, and it has afforded them the opportunity to now make their own decisions about their music, and participate in creating the songs and designing their albums, etc. They are now the ones in control. The fact that this song is nothing like anyone expects, and different than anything out there, is exactly what makes it a SHINee song. SHINee were designed to be SM's experimental boy group, so everything they do is meant to be the first, and they are expected to create the trend. With every new song SHINee produces, it's supposed to be different than the last, so you will never hear the same style or sound from them. But it will somehow always have that SHINee feel. Notice how Key was singing through his clenched teeth in the last part of the song, when they were all dressed in black. And he still sounded perfect, while giving off the "Hard" vibes that the song required. Just one of the many unique elements of this song that only SHINee can pull off. This is really just SHINee going back to their roots. Before debut, SHINee was actually training to be a hip-hop group. However, as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull off hip-hop full time, so last minute SM decided to change up their style to the contemporary R&B style of their debut song "Replay" that they have now become known for. "Hard" just proves that SM wasn't wrong, and SHINee has no problem in the world of hip-hop. But their destiny and calling was to be a group that never ties themselves down to just one style or genre. They were meant to show the world that they can be diverse and unique and never do the same thing twice. With every release that SHINee has, they intentionally flip the script and change things up in the Kpop industry. That's why, when SHINee makes a comeback, everyone pays attention because they are looking to SHINee to show them what the industry's next song style and dance trend will be. It's actually said that within 3 months of SHINee making a comeback, you will see that same sound and dance style being duplicated across the industry with every comeback to follow, for both boy groups and girl groups. When SHINee does something, the industry takes note and follows suit. If you watch the full "SHINee's - 15m Roadtrip comeback show," you will get to see new performances of some of their classic hits, as well as a mini fan concert where they also perform their new songs, "Hard," "Juice" and "10X" live. And in between it all, you get to see Key, Minho and Taemin on a roadtrip camping excursion as they look back on their 15 year career. It was really fun. I encourage everyone to check it out. And to see them preparing for this comeback, watch Taemin and his manager Nam Eui Soo on The Manager TV show. You will get to see all 4 of the members in the dance studio practicing for their comeback, as well as their SHINee World Concert VI (SWC6) in Seoul. Plus, if you haven't yet, check out their dance practice video for "Hard." Also, if you want to see how this MV was filmed, check out their behind the scenes filming video. They spent 3 days filming this MV. We only see Onew in part of the "Hard" MV because he went on hiatus in the middle of filming and wasn't able to participate in the rest of the shoot. Unfortunately, Onew is currently on hiatus due to his health. It was announced June 9, when he was hospitalized for a short time, that he would take a doctor recommended rest. Therefore, they said he wouldn't be participating in any of their comeback activities, including the 3 day opening of their SWC6 that they held right before their comeback.

Because Taemin is also a member of SuperM, I think SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV and Fake Reality teaser is SM's way of drawing SHINee into the SM Universe and fully connecting SHINee to SuperM's/EXO's storyline. Hence, Minho's red hair and the red room with the chairs hanging from the ceiling. I think this might be connected in someway to the Red Force -- which the evil group or being in EXO's storyline -- and EXO's/SuperM's storyline. Although I have not worked out what it all means yet. (In EXO's storyline when we see Red objects or Red light this usually means this is something being controlled by the Red Force.) Therefore, most of SM's groups have storylines that connect. For example, I see connections between EXO, SuperM, aespa and SHINee with the fact that we see SuperM riding on a subway train in their "100" MV and we see aespa in the subway in their debut "Black Mamba" MV, and now we see SHINee also in a train station in "Don't Call Me." And most recently, we saw Baekhyun from EXO/SuperM on an old train in his solo "Bambi" MV. We even see Kai from EXO/SuperM on train tracks and people on a subway train platform in his "Film: Kai" solo debut teaser video during his "Amnesia" section of the video and as it transitions to "Mmmh." We also see Key from SHINee in a subway train in his solo debut "One of Those Nights" MV. And if we go back even further, you see EXO on train tracks in their "Love Me Right" MV and EXO-CBX (which Baekhyun is also a member of) on train tracks in their "Horololo" MV, etc. The train station/subway platform in "Don't Call Me" also is given a very futuristic EXO-like feel with the view of space and the planets in the sky when you see SHINee dancing on the train platform. The scene with Key in the red outfit standing on the phone booth submerged in water, looks like it could have something to do with the Red Force as well. And it also looks very similar to the scene with Taeyeon, from Girls' Generation, standing on the rock in the middle of the Ocean in Key's solo "Hate That ..." MV. Taeyeon is even wearing the same color red dress, in "Hate That ...," and both Key and her have very similar styles and poses. And now, it also looks like this could be connected to SHINee's new "Hard" MV storyline, with Minho standing on the rock wearing a red jacket, with a vibe very similar to this as well. We also see in that scene with Key standing on the phone booth in "Don't Call Me," him dressed in his black outfit with the feather headpiece standing in front of the image of himself, which looks as though this could be showing him in an alternate realities -- or a "fake reality." Then in the next scene, it looks as though the SHINee members go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all posing in their black outfits. This looks very similar to the scene in SuperM's debut "Jopping" MV. When the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of "Jopping," they are each teleported through space, which looks very similar to that scene with the black wall with stars in "Don't Call Me." Therefore, because the members of SuperM are supposed to be coming together to help EXO fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop them from taking over the world, etc., I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the fight. If you follow EXO's storyline, in EXO's "Obsession" MV we learn that the good guys are the members in the all black outfits, and in "Jopping" we see SuperM's "Avengers uniform" is similar all black outfits. So, in the scene in "Don't Call Me," when we see SHINee all together in those black outfits, it looks as though they might be preparing to join in the fight. That is why I think that even though SHINee are part of the second generation, that SM is now working on bringing them into the storyline. And although most of SM's older groups' concepts and MVs may have never been originally designed to have any type of connection to anything to do with anything, that doesn't necessarily mean that over the years as EXO's story has evolved or SM's Universe concept was being created, that SM didn't find "happy coincidences" within those MVs that allowed them to use them as a way to connect things together. For example, some have pointed to the fact that NingNing's butterfly in aespa's concept from 2020 could be connected to the butterfly in EXO's debut "Mama" MV from 2012, as well as the butterfly in NCT-127's "Favorite (Vampire)" MV from 2021, and some have made compelling arguments that it could even be connected to SHINee's butterfly in their "Ring Ding Dong" MV from 2009. I mean we see what looks like the pink planet from Super Junior's recent "House Party" MV and a scene from Super Junior-K.R.Y.'s "When We Were Us" MV from 2020 in "aespa's ep.1 - SM Culture Universe" video. And SM has even brought Kangta, who is a member of the very first Kpop boy group H.O.T., which debuted in 1996, into the storyline with his solo MV remake of H.O.T's song "Free to Fly." which looks like they are on another planet in the MV and it featured Winter from aespa and Sungchan, who is a former member of NCT and now a member of SM's soon to be new boy group RIIZE, in the story. Changmin from TVXQ was also brought into the story in 2022 with his song "Devil," as the MV shows him on a pink planet and he talks about Kwangya in the song lyrics. And even more recently, BoA, who is a solo artist, became a villain within aespa's storyline. So it's starting to look like SM may be hinting at eventually bring all of their artists into the storyline, including their older groups.

In SHINee's "Juice" performance video, I think the "sun" is supposed to remind you of a giant orange. The song is called "Juice," so I think the orange sphere might be designed to represent the theme of the song. We also see it turn into a red sphere and a silver crystal-like ball. LOL. I think the "sun" is changing colors and becoming more powerful to go along with how the song is getting more fierce. (And as you may have noticed, in the beginning they showed an eclipse, which could potentially be connected to SM Entertainment's SM Culture Universe storyline, but I'm not really convinced yet.) As you can see, the lyrics of the song are a big flex about how they are at the top of the game and they have that special "juice" that makes everyone want them and fall in love with them, etc. Fun fact: The phrase, "Incoming!!!", the laughing, and the phrase "Let's get it" in the background, as well as the phrase "Let's change the scenery, shall we" in the middle of the song, are the signature style and voice of Dem Jointz, who is one of the producers of this track, along with Kenzie. Already 15 years in the game and they are just setting out to prove that they can still hold their own and, in may cases, outdo all the youngsters in the industry today. They pretty much swept all the music shows and got all the awards this comeback. All the backup dancers fell down at the end because the only ones who could "survive" by the end of that performance were the SHINee members. The three still standing were Key, Minho and Taemin. As you know, SHINee are some of the best dancers in the whole industry. They started the synchronized dance trend. And they made the industry realize that if anyone else wanted to compete they needed to up their game. Just think, when Taemin joined SM as a trainee at 11, he didn't even have any dance training -- up until then, all his skills were self-taught by watching dancers on TV shows -- and by the time he debuted less than 3 years later in 2008, he was already showing everyone that his skill level was on par with, or even surpassed, many professional dancers who had been dancing for years. That is why Taemin is now considered one of the top two BEST dancers in all of Kpop. It's why he is most idols idol and a legend even among legends. And the fact that the other SHINee members have no problem keeping up with Taemin, just shows why SHINee are one of the top groups. That's just SHINee's natural talent. Plus, Key actually was chosen to become an SM trainee because of his skills as a dancer. He is the SHINee member who is fastest at memorizing choreography. He has a photographic memory, so he only needs to see a dance once and he can replicate it on the spot almost better than the original. He literally knows everyone's choreography in the Kpop industry. He can fill in as a member of almost any group because he knows their song and choreography just as well, or better, than the actual members. And although, Minho is the main rapper of the group, in fan meetings and concerts when he has a solo stage, he often does dance covers or dance performances because he is also a really good dancer. However, as you know, what sets SHINee apart even more as a group, is they also are recognized as some of the best vocalists in the industry. SHINee are referred to as CDINee or CD-eaters, because they sound even better live then their album versions. Even as rookies, SHINee's main vocalists -- Onew and Jonghyun -- were mentors and vocal coaches to a lot of other singers and trainees, including several members of EXO. (EXO may be considered "Vocal Kings," but SHINee are the original Vocal Kings. Which just goes to show you why they are both SM groups.) In their "Juice" performance video Onew was unable to participate in this performance, so the other members covered his parts in the song. However, if you listen to the song on the album, you will hear Onew's voice in the song and he creates an even richer feel. That's just SHINee for you, even when one of their main vocalists is missing, the other members can step in and cover for them and they still manage to sound and look flawless. Although each of their voices adds their own district color to their songs that can't be replaced -- to be fair, all their songs are much better with all 5 of them -- but the other members are so good, that they never look or sound like they are lacking, no matter who is covering each part of the song. The ONLY thing SHINee is not good at is lip syncing, so they have specifically trained since their debut, to build stamina and endurance, in order to be able to sing live for 3+ hours straight, all while performing these intense choreographies. When you watch a live performance you may be shocked, because they sound so perfect live even though they are dancing so intensely, but that is why they are so highly respected by everyone. It's a running joke between fans and the members that you can tell when SHINee are lip syncing because they are so bad at it, that is why they avoid it at all costs. Therefore, when you hear SHINee sing, 95% of the time it will be live. Yes, over the years they have become better at lip syncing then they used to be, but now they have gained the reputation as the group that always sings live, so unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, what you will hear is live vocals. Other Idols and audio sound technicians, etc. who have witnessed SHINee performing live are always blown away, because in the parts of the song where most singers would take a break and rely on the backing track vocals to cover their voices so they can catch their breath and recover, this is where the SHINee members actually ramp it up and become their most powerful. Therefore, in their live performance of "Juice" SHINee sounds even better than in the recorded version, all while dancing full out. What make SHINee so great is that even if they are singing a cappella while performing this high energy choreography, they sound just as flawless. That's why, even as rookies, senior artists would stop what they were doing to watch SHINee's rehearsals on music programs because SHINee's vocal talent is that impressive. When SHINee debuted, they were the first group to demonstrate how it was possible to sing live while performing complex choreography and still maintain stable vocals. Before SHINee, the thought within the industry was that it wasn't possible to sing live and also perform high intensity choreography at the same time. At that time, most groups would either sing live and have simple choreography, or they would have crazy cool choreography, but lip sync to their recorded vocals. SHINee completely changed the Kpop industry and upped the standard of what it meant to be an idol singer. As you have seen, SHINee live is unmatched. It's literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard that all other groups strive to reach, and SHINee are the vocalists that all other artists try to emulate. SM really hit gold when they formed this group, and I don't think it can ever be duplicated in the same way again. To understand just how influential SHINee is, I recommend a video called, "SHINee's Impact in Music is BIGGER Than You Think. {{Deep Dive}} [15th Anniversary Tribute]," kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6XVi2qOe7R_a9k. There's been a lot of debate whether "Hard" or "Juice" should be the lead/title track on SHINee''s Hard album -- SM wanted "Juice," to be the lead track, but the SHINee members insisting on "Hard." At this point, I think we all just need to trust SHINee knows what they are doing. Over the past 15 years, we have seen the SHINee members prove time and time again, that they know how to be one step ahead of the trend. For example, Jonghyun wanted his song "Deja Boo" to be his solo debut song, but SM insisted on his song "Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)." And in the end, Jonghyun was right. "Deja Boo" became so popular as a b-side track that it had SM scrambling to find ways to showcase the song, proving Jonghyun knew what he was doing. And, "View" -- which is one of SHINee's most popular songs -- wasn't even a contender for SHINee's Odd album, until Jonghyun rewrote the lyrics and the members pushed SM to make it their lead track. In their recent "SHINee's - 15m Roadtrip comeback show", Key, Minho and Taemin revealed that they all spent a lot of extra time making sure everything felt right with their Hard album. They wanted to release the album on May 25, the day of their 15th anniversary, but things needed work. For example, there was a section in "Hard" that needed some tweaking. So, instead of just rushing to get it done, they took the time to make it perfect. Key said, that when they heard the final version of "Hard" -- which was sent to them while they were in Japan filming their special pre-release "The Feeling" MV -- his legs went numb and he knew "Hard" had to be their title track. LOL I think the members chose wisely. Although I love "Juice" because it does a really good job of showing exactly what makes SHINee one of the best of the best, and no one can perform the way they do. However, "Hard" has a much more universally marketable/catchy sound when it comes to appealing to the mainstream public, and the choreography lends itself to being much easier to use for things like tiktok challenges, etc. than "Juice" would have been.

If you're interested, I think the storyline in SHINee's "Hard" MV can be interpreted in two ways. As you noticed, the whole MV has a piano theme. For example, in the beginning when the scene becomes animated, it showed Taemin being pulled into the piano. And, if you look at the set with the brown walls, you will notice that it looks like the inside of a piano with the wooden hammers that create the sound when the keys are played on the walls behind them. And the lighted white screen is divided like the white keys of the piano with the people's silhouettes representing the black keys, etc. This could represent how music is what controls their lives and its what has trapped them in this world as artists. Which could be similar to the themes within Taemin's solo Never Gonna Dance Again album trilogy -- "2 Kids", "Criminal" and "Idea" -- and his epilogue "Advice." However, I'm also pretty sure that the whole "Hard" MV storyline is connected to SM's SM Culture Universe. The more I watch it, the more I see that seems to indicate that it's all connected. As with all the groups under SM Entertainment, their storylines are all part of a larger concept kind of like a giant graphic novel or action movie series with a twist. SHINee's story, so far, primarily connects to EXO's and SuperM's storylines. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together there are threads of connections between the groups. You could sort of think of it like the Marvel franchise. Each of the Marvel characters has their own storyline, merchandise and fans, but the stories and concepts often overlap and connect. And with each new character that is introduced it expands on the whole Marvel universe. To understand how all of SM's groups are connected, keep in mind that it all began with EXO's origin story. As you know, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from Planet Exo, who have been sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are believed to be caused by the Red Force. The Red Force is thought to be here on Earth inflicting their evil agenda -- corrupting humanity and causing all the bad things that are happening in the world, such as war, hate and destruction of the environment, etc. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc. With SHINee's "Hard" MV, I think when we first see Taemin in the black sleeveless suit, he looks very similar to what he looked like in his SuperM debut teasers, which might mean that this could be connected to SuperM's storyline. SuperM is the Kpop industry's very first supergroup, which debuted in October 2019, and, as you also know, their concept and storyline is centered around the fact that they are Avengers-like superheros, so SuperM is the group that pretty much connects all of SM's groups together. As part of EXO's story, Baekhyun and Kai have recruited members from SM's other male Kpop groups -- Taemin from SHINee, Taeyong and Mark from NCT, Ten from WayV and Lucas who is a former member of WayV -- and formed SuperM, to help them battle the Red Force. As "The Avengers," SuperM is taking members from each of SM's groups and joining forces to take down the Red Force. And, just like how the movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the conflict. I also think the story in "Hard" even could be connected to Taemin's "Advice" storyline. We see him with his hands painted blue in "Hard," similar to his black ink stained hands and body in "Advice," and in both scenes we see him standing in front of/playing a piano. (Technically, Pearl Aqua is SHINee's color. However, before LED lights were invented, creating a wider range of colors -- making way for SHINee's official Pearl Aqua color -- they used blue and green in things to do with SHINee. That's why we still see blue, green and aqua with most things SHINee related.) Some have pointed out, that the scene with the silhouettes behind the screen, reminds them of the scene in Taemin's "Criminal" MV, with the people behind a screen pushing their hands into it. However, in "Hard" Taemin is standing in front of the screen, rather than walking through the middle with the two sides reaching for him like in "Criminal". Although, I also think that scene could be connected to EXO's storyline, because we see in EXO's "Tempo" MV a scene where there are silhouettes behind a lighted white wall that looks very similar to this. In EXO's storyline, the people behind the wall are thought to be EXO's alter ego clones, who were created by the Red Force, or they could be the EXO members who are trapped behind the wall. We also see EXO fighting with their silhouette shadows in their live concert performance of their song "Wolf," which is also thought to be EXO battling X-EXO as they search for the Tree of Life. Ever since SHINee came out with "Don't Call Me," I think the storyline in that MV was supposed to be SM bringing SHINee into the SM Culture Universe. As you have seen, in their "Don't Call Me" MV it looks as though the SHINee members go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all posing in their black outfits like they are getting ready for battle. This looks very similar to the scene in SuperM's debut "Jopping" MV when the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of "Jopping." Therefore, because Taemin is a member of SuperM, I think SHINee is supposed to be getting ready to join SuperM in the fight against the Red Force. In "Hard" we also see Taemin standing on a grate as he crouches down and looks through it at the "people" in white trapped below, similar to his scene in SuperM's "Jopping" MV. The scene with Key standing with all the dancers in white -- which I think are supposed to represent the white keys of a piano -- sitting in a circle around him, also seems to be an important part of the story, however, I'm not sure what it all means yet. We see Key remove the mask of one of the guys and we discover the guy has a glowing blue earpiece, which seems to be suggesting that they are being controlled by outside forces. However, because they are all just sitting there without moving, it seems to indicate that they are currently "shut-down". Either these people are androids or robots, like in EXO's "Lucky One" MV, or they are people who are under mind control. Although, I don't think they are being controlled by the Red Force necessarily because we don't see any trace of red anywhere in that scene. Instead, the color we see is blue, which usually within EXO's storyline means that it represents something to do with EXO, who are the good guys. Plus, as I said, blue with SHINee usually represents SHINee and their connection as a group. Minho standing on the edge of that rock formation looks similar to the scene with Girls' Generation's Taeyeon standing on the rock in the middle of the ocean in Key's solo "Hate That ..." MV, and it also looks a lot like the scene in SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV, with Key standing on the submerged phone booth. It all has the same feeling. (Notice how they also are all wearing red in all of those scenes. Red usually represents something to do with the Red Force.) In the next animated scene, we see what looks like Minho in the red jacket fighting with the same piano key ropes that pulled Taemin into the piano in the beginning. To me, it looks like its trying to keep him trapped within the piano and under the control of the music. However, in the next scene we see the giant piano has been destroyed behind them. I think this could represent how music no longer controls them, but they now control the music. In the last scene at the end -- after the Hard8 title, which I think you missed because you stopped the video too soon -- it reminds me of the same menacing red atmosphere as Minho's rap section in their "Don't Call Me" MV, where we see him in an all red room with chairs hovering above him. Therefore, I think the gloved hand is Minho's hand because it looks like the same gloves that Minho is wearing in the scene right before that where they are dressed in black. Although I don't know what that means yet, I am sure it is something to connect the storyline to something within one of SM's MVs in the future or will make more sense when more of the story is revealed as SM releases the next chapter, etc. But you should also know, that no one really knows for sure what is happening in any of the story. There are well known theories and storylines that are accepted within the fandom, which we think might explain what is happening in each MV. And there are theories about how each MV is connected and where each falls within their larger storyline, but nothing is set in stone. Fan theories are constantly evolving and changing with every introduction of a new piece of the puzzle. New things are revealed with every MV release, concert, event, or appearance, etc., which could either add to or change the storyline.

With "Don't Call Me," SHINee are just doing what we longtime fans have all come to expect from them -- showing us something that has never been seen or heard before and starting a new trend. Every song you hear and every choreography you see from them should be like nothing they have ever done. They are supposed to reinvent the industry with every comeback. That is why they are constantly raising the bar with everything they do. When it comes to SHINee, it should always feel "very different." That's what makes them SHINee. :D With every new song release, SHINee are expected to come out with a style and sound that is brand new, not only for them, but in the industry as a whole. And "Don't Call Me" is a perfect example of that. This was SHINee's first comeback in almost 3 years because Onew, Key and Minho had all just recently been discharged from the military. This comeback was a really big deal because it was the first time we had seen SHINee back together in a really long time. And this wasn't the only thing they were involved in. With this comeback, they set out to outdo themselves within only a few months of their return from the military, and they had to do it all within a couple of months because Taemin was about to enlist. Not only did they have this comeback, but they also had a repackage album comeback with their song "Atlantis", a Japanese album comeback with their song "Superstar," a virtual beyond Live concert and a Japanese fan meeting. And what was even crazier, was that it was all while Taemin was still promoting his solo comeback with his song "Idea", he had a comeback with SuperM's song "We Do" and a follow up solo comeback with his song "Advice," as well as Taemin's solo Beyond Live concert, etc. I mean they were working nonstop. Plus, Minho was filming a drama, Key was back as a cast member on the variety show Amazing Saturday and Onew was involved in other activities. SHINee are known as one of the few groups that rarely takes a break, they are usually busy with one project after another. Therefore, now that Taemin is done with his military service, and they are all officially free to get back to promoting as a group, be prepared to see the SHINee members everywhere, and for multiple projects and activities from them. I predict they will be nonstop busy for the rest of the year. Onew -- the one with the hoodie -- is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique voices in the industry. He is the one with the voice that impressed you. He is considered the male vocalist with the most consistent voice. He was one of only two people ever chosen to become a trainee by the founder of SM, Lee SooMan himself, impressing him with his talent when he was only about 17. He is now considered one of the most coveted voices in the industry that can pretty much be paired with anyone regardless of their vocal style or music genre. Key (The "Master Key", who can unlock all the doors in the entertainment industry with his talent. His real name is Kim Kibum, hence why his stage name is Key.) -- the one with the feather headpiece -- is our fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits*. He has even been given the official title of SM's Director of Fashion. He is also SHINee's dance copy machine who is the fastest to memorize choreography. He literally can see a dance for the first time and reproduce it on the spot almost better than the original. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker. He spent some time studying in Australia and New York when he was in middle school, before become a trainee at about 14, and he said his grandma had an English tutor, so he is almost as good as a native speaker. *Pearl Aqua is SHINee's fan color, so all the blue/green aqua colors you see in this MV are meant to represent SHINee. That is why in the scene where they are wearing the brown outfits, Key has the aqua yarn woven into his sweater and why the collar of Onew's jacket was dyed aqua, etc. Minho -- the one with the red hair** -- is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. He is considered the president of SHINee's fan club, because he is all the members biggest fans. He literally attends all the members solo events and promotes SHINee like a Shawol. ** There has only been a handful of times in the past 15 years that Minho has ever dyed his hair any other color besides brown or auburn, and when he does he only keeps it that way for a few week. :D As you have seen, Minho is a lead actor in a lot of K-dramas and movies, and, when not promoting with SHINee, he is almost always working on his next TV or movie project. So, one of the reasons why I think he doesn't dye his hair as often as other idols, is because of his acting roles. The majority of the roles that he plays are boy next door-type characters or historical dramas, etc. so he needs to look as average as he can. (Or, at least as average as a guy who was born with model good look anyway ;D) Case in point, he literally dyed his hair for this MV and then dyed it back brown because he was filming a drama, and then he dyed it red again when they started their comeback activities, all within the span of a couple of weeks. And, as you know, Taemin -- the one with the blond highlights and the white bandana -- is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry (Kai from EXO, who happens to be Taemin's best friend, and a fellow member of SuperM, is the other top dancer.) The title of best dancer was bestowed on Taemin by his peers and industry experts, so that just goes to show you how good of dancers all the members of SHINee must be. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson for a reason. He is also considered the blueprint for what it takes to be a successful male solo artist, becoming one of the first SM artists who was part of an active group to debut solo in 2014 at the age of 21, making him, yet again, one of the youngest solo artists at the time. He is an idol of most other idols and a legend among legends. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. You should also check out SHINee's live performance stage for "Don't Call Me," kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGSUYWaJqsRgma8. (If you like the piano in this song, just wait until you see their live performance. The piano becomes even more noteworthy in the live. I won't spoil it, you will just have to watch it to see what I mean. :D)

Trying to enjoy your video. Of course we expect some talking from reactors but dude on the left please for the love of god bring it down some. It’s all talks about the fits the drip, their merch. YES we love those things too, but more importantly it was painfully clear that you missed SO MUCH of the vids. Please, just two things- 1)just bring the talk from a 9 down to a 2 or 3, or better yet comment during pauses and/or end of the mv, and 2)plz actually react to the mv rather than perform for the camera or whatever is happening. Guy on right, thank you. Three great Shinee songs in a row, an ult lineup, I was excited but found it so HARD (no pun intended ,lol) to get through the whole video.

As an EXO-L myself, I agree that SHINee has always been edgier than EXO, but that’s what I think is so brilliant about K-pop and SM Entertainment (not withstanding how much I loathes the way that company is run and other things), there is something for everyone to like. I believe both SHINee and EXO members are outstanding and I’m grateful for their talent and music.

Hey man, I love your reaction and I feel like you're a genuine person and I would recommend an epic live video of EXO performing "drop that" in Japan, which is a very difficult song but they did a very good rap with three high notes that are incredible if you have the time Please take a few minutes to search this video and I promise you won't be disappointed looking forward to your response thank you very much❤
