My boyfriend died in an accident 2 years ago. I used to be a huge music freak . Playing music whole night in my room . Never went out without headphones. But after he died i couldn't listen to any song. Everytime i listened to something i would start thinking about our moments . I couldn't control it . It's a quite weird feeling i can't explain but it made me so uncomfortable. Eventually i stopped listening to music for some time and kinda got used to it . I was going through youtube recommendations and i found this song.. It felt so dark and refreshing. I felt free and high . Played this on repeat for hours. Started discovering new bands and new songs. I became that music freak again. I still miss you V.♥

Music is my refuge. This song captures so many repressed feelings I feel I need to hide from the world and I let go through my writing, pain, loss, grief, longing, love..the urge to be well enough to race down a beach and dive into the ocean and scream until the pain is gone. But music like this is the catharsis that helps soothe and pick up shattered lives for an escape, or enhance others.

I helped a lady I met once. After telling me of her woes I replied do one thing a day that's a challenge, different or dangerous or unique." I saw her with a huge smile the next morning. These lyrics could have been written specifically for me... But I guess there must be many others who also have to suffer similarly to me; having been thrown into chaos and confusion, and somehow the only way to become whole and at peace within oneself and the world, is to subject themselves to an ordeal which allows for a kind of rebirth...

I loved your interview on your soundcloud, as I feel more connected to your pure, raw, flow of human expression through your craft after hearing your process and how you've evolved into a more carefree, confident singer on stage and stellar acting here!! WOW!! This music and short film takes me back to the 80s when music was supposed to be art that you experience along with a creative music video that leaves you full of anticipation, vulnerability and connects on some visceral level with ones soul as art should. Sweet new vibe here and am still in love with Pain!!! Cheers!!

I recently moved out of a shit hole city called Bessemer, into the middle of nowhere under the shadow of South Mountain. Lovely place, trees and animals everywhere. So much isolation everywhere, no one around, no buzz, no droning.. just your mind. And that's what has been gnawing at me lately.. I recently got over my ex, 5 years ago she Ruined me. Made me unravel like a spool of yarn.. I loved her so much and I still do. She left me. Abandoned me and is doing god knows what right now.. I never really realized it, but I still am aching. It just took this isolation to make me face myself and realize that pain has to escape.. you can't run a ay from it. Boy Harsher has been a very relatable emotion to reflect on this stuff, it's helping me heal. But damn, music like this makes the journey easier and less lonely. I love ya dork, wherever you are. I never let go and I never want to. Hope you're doing good. 🍻
