That first story really hit home with me. My situation was exactly the same. I had known this girl since the 3rd grade. Fell hard for a girl but I wasn't in the in crowd. Was bullied by her friends, harassed and had many fights with male friends and boyfriend. A total disaster 11th and part of 12th grade. As an FYI, after she rejected me, I left her alone and made no trouble but her crowd took it upon themselves to hurt and humiliate me. About 10 years later, saw her in a department store. She looked a bit rundown but still in my eyes was attractive. She approached me and we talked for a bit. We went to lunch and caught up. She had had a rough time since high school. Got in with the wrong people, got hooked on drugs, and essentially, was rode hard and put away wet. She did apologized for the treatment in school. Fortunately for me, she didn't mention anything about getting together or any of that. Hurt to see her in such disarray but she chose her path. A few years later I found the women who has been my wife for 41 years. It was unfortunate I had to go through hell back then but things happen for a reason. Thank you for the great story. Reminded me why I appreciate the wonderful women who is my wife and the mother of my child !!

WHEN IS BULLYING GOING TO BE TREATED AS SERIOUSLY AS OTHER FORMS OF ABUSE?
@keithpace98703 ай бұрын
Because more rules, placing boundaries will never end bullying, racism, bigotry, hypocrisy, jealousy, envying or hate. Our human nature if not brought under subjection will always want to go against rules that say, you can't do... or don't do.... Since we were small children we have probably been told before by a grown-up don't touch.... or something to not do, yet ended up doing it anyways. People grow in maturity to some extent, but there continues to live inside of us a desire to not want to be controlled, to not be told what we should not do. A change of heart is the best antidote to a bully to stop and never bully again.

These are videos, but inspired from real events that viewers contribute to. I had a similar crush in high school that blew up in my face. I dodged a serious bullet on that one though. The girl I liked turned out to actually be a teen drunk, and she had to be rushed to the hospital multiple times to have her stomach pumped to prevent alcohol poisoning. She always wanted to date guys over 21, and it was for going to loud parties to get noticed. The image of confidence can be good, or bad, Be careful. She said we could be friends just to "friend zone" me, and that hurt. I did try reaching out to her some years later, but no big surprise, she had not changed. I learned to move on in my life and by happy enjoying new experiences, and meeting new people. I did that right after high school anyway, because I found life in small northern Minnesota towns to be slow and boring. Years later, people who stayed there, never really changed. They tend to resent people, like myself, who went out into the world and take the risks along with it. He would have been strong to have the self respect to move on from her, because she ultimately never really appreciated him. You have to have standards with people, and set clear boundaries. You get walked all over otherwise.
@keithpace98703 ай бұрын
If nobody gave people who wronged them a second chance, this world would be a much more dark world than it already is. You may yourself have wronged someone at one time in your life and not remember it. Imagine if that is true and you told the person you are sorry, but person never gave you another chance. That is their right of course, but maybe if the person gives you another chance you end up finally really understanding what it means to be kind because you witnessed it demonstrated to you.
@howardg24353 ай бұрын
@@keithpace9870 You move on to see kindness in other forms from different people. If doors in life are shut, they are shut for a reason. leave them alone, and move on. Life really is good going about in life to meet different people. You won't be able to please everyone, nor should you have to. Sure, if the person is willing to forgive, and give a second chance, then great. However, do not count on that. just move on in your life, and be happy being the individual you truly are. I know people want to forgive, and people do change in time. I had bad experiences growing up, particularly early on. I found one of those realities revisit, and hit me hard this last week. I was abused badly in daycare when I was 4 and 5. I found that the man who abused me back then was a former Minneapolis police officer with anger issues. Minneapolis has something of a history of abusive officers well before the George Floyd events. I said that this happened when I was 4 and 5, as an infant child during the first developmental years of a child's life. Events, like that, leave people with significant impressions on life. I do go through life coaching now to better understand people. Thank you for caring, and helping me see that people do care, even if we don't always see it. Take care. 🙂

Too many of us in this world tend to be much harder or slower to let go when other people are being awful to us, but if we were awful to someone to protect our own selfish pride, to get accepted by others or because they didn't live up to all of our expectations, we give ourselves a break. We act like we deserve unlimited chances in life to do better or like we don't have to change it is always those who offended us or someone we love that are the ones that need to change.

They seek out for those who either are the most like them, give them the attention they want or that they aspire to be like. She did. She admitted what she did and apologized. Does he have to give her another chance at a relationship with him? 100% Absolutely not, but it is his choice. The fact that he did sends a stronger message than If he rejected her for the rest of her life. He told I taught students to show empathy. He demonstrated compassion by offering to have coffee with her, despite what she did. He forgave her. The world can't get too many stories about forgiveness and of empathy. Too many of us in this world want people who have burned bridges with us, lied to us, made fun of us when we were feeling vulnerable in our life, we are quick to want them to be arrested and locked up or something miserable to happen to them or we want them to be haunted by the pain they brought. We are good at judging the worst deeds of others, but we let ourselves off the hook easy for if we hurt people. If we tell lies or insults in our life to someone else because we don't like them for any number of reasons and someone we wronged goes home or to their car or somewhere crying in heart break pain for how we treated that person, if we find out about it, we are quick to deflect, avoid accountability, avoid apologizing and want at best them to just get over it, move on and grow a pair. Yet, if we are unjustly treated like garbage, we fight to seek justice or vengeance for how we were treated.

The second story, the dad is a horrible actor! He smiles throughout the entire thing! Smiling when he's supposed to be angry, smiling when he's supposed to be frustrated, smiling when arguing with his wife.........,... He didn't play his role seriously.

People definitely do change. And Fiona should have just moved on after how mean she was to Max.

She did, she got involved with the wrong kind of person and she came back to apologize to him. Is it a federal crime if he chooses not to let her back into his life, no but if he is willing to give her a second chance that is his right. How many of us have ever treated at least one person horribly who didn't deserve it and yet we want to criticise or debate about someone else giving another person another chance. I have been treated bad by certain people that I thought were my friends and yet I would sit down and listen to them if they would only admit what they did and say they are sorry.

The father of the second video is a real creep. He is a maniac and that is the readon he is so worried about his daughter brcause he harasses other girls. This is my opinion. In Italy we say: male non fare paura non avere.

Never let anyone like this who thinks they can just walk back into your life after they treated you like crap in the past.
@keithpace98703 ай бұрын
Before you judge another, maybe you before have treated someone bad who did nothing wrong to you and it was one of the worst days of their life. What if say it was towards someone who wanted to go out with you, but you treated that person like they will never measure up to your expectations. Would you want the person to never give you a second chance?
