Guh...I've watched this summary probably 5 times at this point, even went so far to order the video from Amazon, hope it has English dub. But of all the summaries I've seen, something about this story just resonates with me. First, despite the fact it has all the makings of a harem, its not, its an OTP with Red and Riz being solely devoted to each other. Second, despite how strong Red is, he's not the strongest person in the party, far from it, but his strength to the team comes in his guidance. Third, he doesn't have an overpowered weapon. I love the fact that his weapon is just a bronze sword, the importance being that no matter how useless you might see something, it still has a purpose. Not crazy about the Little Sister Complex, I mean, why the hell is that in so many anime? But everything else about this video is awesome.

I think the reason this story resonates so well with viewers is because it reflects what sadly happens in life so well. A group that works well then has some leader head get ride of the 'weakest link' only to realize that what that person did was an integral part of the group as a whole. The group then admonishes the leader, leaves, or tries to get the person back only for that person to have moved on, for better or worse, but not wanting to be back in a possibly toxic situation again. Those left behind criticize the leader until either they move on or karma comes back on them in kind, or the group as individuals move on to their own goals leaving the leader to deal with the mess left behind. I think just about anyone can put themselves somewhere in the shoes of various characters having seen or experienced such a situation before. Just goes to show how fantasy does imitate the real world and in doing so draws the audience in. This is not to be confused with propaganda insertion, just daily life difficulties and experiences.
