I kind of wonder what guys say about getting hit to the groin versus geting hit to the nose. Honestly, as a woman, getting hit between the legs hurts like crazy. But I'd say nose is worse, knee almost dislocating feels equally bad, a nail flipping or the not normal period pains that send us to the ground .... when it comes to all humans then we can all relate to many terrible pains. The one reason why "ball to groin" stands out as "special", appears to be, that it's an instance where we socially agreed on men/boys having explicit permision to display pain in public and receiving public compassion without it (feeling AND receiving compassion) being framed as "weakness". Aka a remnant of so called "toxic masculinity" principles (or rather "unhealed masculine" principles). In future, the reactions will hopefully be caring and compassionate no matter who gets hurt where and under what circumstances!

As a guy who has been punched in the balls several times, along with punched in the nose/headbutt in the nose a few times, getting punched in the balls hurts way more than anything to the nose. Breaking my nose and deviating my septum ultimately hurt less than getting punched in the balls. There’s been a few times where I’ve gotten hot and cold flashes from it and it feels like my entire body is empty at the same time. Kind of contradicting the feeling of the body being empty, at the same time it feels like this constant lingering pain that refuses to go away after the initial strike to the balls. The majority of the time though, any sort of hit to that area, light or not, will illicit that lingering effect down there in that general area afterwards. To be fair though, they were some very accurate nut shots, and I’m not sure if anyone else I know has experienced the hot and cold flashes before.
