Best review of Boyalink on KZbin by far. I wanted to see all around the sides to get a good idea of the ports and therefore help me determine how I would be able to use it. My use case is going to be a bit unique. I have a wired microphone that I'm trying to replace with wireless, or semi-wireless. I don't like having the microphone cable on my desk and the boom-arm takes up space, plus I might be walking around the house while having a meeting and don't want to sit in front of my microphone. By using the Boyalink, I hope to keep the receiver plugged into my laptop permanently and since it has a USB-C port, it should be able to be charged while it's in use. Or it could even allow my existing USB-C laptop charging cable to provide power-delivery through it, which should charge both the receiver AND the laptop at the same time. Then, I can take the transmitter and walk around the house and then just swap them out when it's low on battery, which makes the charging issue with wireless microphones a non-issue.

Dear sir madamDoes it disables speaker audio on iphone or any Android smart phone when you connect the receiver.The problem is many types of wireless mics mutes and disables speaker audio on my iphone while I am making short videos in SnapChat and KZbin Shorts and Reels. also I do live in TikTokI am looking for wireless mic with good voice quality and noise cancelation and do not disable and mute speaker audio on smartphone

iPhone sound quality is solid but when plugged into my Sony a6400 I only get one channel to record??? I then have to turn it into 2 channels in post.

@TechMagnet - do you know if you can charge the receiver & transmitter while they're in use? For example, the receiver may be plugged into a phone and the USB-C cable can go into the receiver, which then provides passthrough power-delivery charging to the phone itself. But does that also charge the transmitter?
