Made in the USA...I miss seeing that everywhere. Glad to see handcrafted in the USA.

Explains why custom parts like this can cost more for the consumer. I used Boyesen reeds way back in the 1980s and they made a lot of difference to performance. Good to see the company still going.

Cool video I was expecting to see super high tech machinery , I also though that their manufacturing facility was over seas . They should definitely laser engraved their parts made in the usa

Pretty old school process. There must be a safer way to get the parts out of the oven i'd think

I've had to send it back twice due to the cover having manufacturing defects. Super disappointed 😔 first one had a crack along bolt hole. Second had a pin hole leak mid cover.

So basically is the same process that every engine manufacturer is going thru, nothing new nothing special, still interesting for who didn't know how investment casting works, personally i prefer machined from solid parts if I have to upgrade something.

+Rapbando yup....billet is usually stronger than cast..hinson runs billet stuff and their anodizing process is nice.....only big difference over this cast stuff and the OEM engine makers, is that for a lot of MX bikes now, they use lighter Magnesium for the clutch, flywheel/stator and valve cover.... Boyesen does make what most believe to be the best water pump kit.....i've never seen any data though.....only theoretical marketing rubbish that i usually pay no heed to. can't speak about the 2smoke stuff, i'm a 4stroke guy.
