The last story I can so relate. My husband now loss his ex wife and when I stepped in, I took on his kids like they are my own. I am in love with them and I realize this was a blessing rather than a burden cause they needed me. They came from toxicity and I bring stability and balance to their lives. Knowing that’s still their mother and I can never replace her and don’t want to, I will still love her children as if they are my own. Girl that’s ur blessing and God seen fit that u will bring forth stability to her life and he chose u! Just accept the assignment and give her the love she deserves. The fact that ur heart opened up to ur baby niece the way it did just proved what Zoie said , that’s ur baby and blessings come in different forms( even through tragic situations unfortunately). I salute you Queen for stepping up! I pray that God will give you everything u need to care for that child even tho u weren’t prepared to do so and trust he will, just keep the faith, remember through him all things are possible!!!! God Bless you and that precious baby!!!!

I get the story abt the mom bc I have also felt that same type of overwhelming aggravation.. and its definitely a result of my mothers reaction to be spoken too but I learned to just break that habit bc I started giving her same reaction to other people.. just approach with a non-vigilant mindset and just talk to her on a level at which you are able to remain calm and stay positive and if it still isn’t working then you can always work on how u respond first before you talk to her

I can definitely relate to the lady who gets aggrieved by her mom. My mom has been very strict since I was a child, I could never joke around with her because she’s always angry at everything and everyone. Our relationship has always been a dictatorship. She doesn’t want to have a conversation with me but she just wants to scream orders at me and have me do them without questioning it. Not even going to get into her always Changing channels, telling us what to watch and what not to watch. What music to listen to and what to not listen. When we’re not allowed to leave and when we can leave. What to wear and what not to wear. She is also very disrespectful to me dad, she doesn’t respect him at all and that makes me despise her even more. She is my mother and I still love her, I do talk to her sometimes and she’ll act like she understands my concerns but then she’s gone back to square one and sometimes even bring up the concerns I shared with here and mimic me in a mockery way. I can’t deal with her honestly, I think she knows she’s wrong and she just isn’t ready to change. She’ll be telling everyone out business but never forgetting to make herself seem like the victim in the story. I just can’t be in the same room with my mom, he presents makes me mad. I think she needs to go to therapy for her childhood trauma because her parents were also real strict and distant with her. they never had a close and communicative relationship. So now that cycle is continuing through since she never let the past go. I would love to go to therapy with her if that will fix our relationship but I don’t want to talk to her if she won’t accept her wrongs and she’ll make herself seem like the victim and I’m the disrespectful one since she’s the adult and she’s never wrong. Wuhh chile, There is a lot going on FR. Love and light to all suffering mother and Daughter relationships hopefully they can be some sort of reconciliation for them.

With the mom relationship thing, I’m going to speak from my experience. If when I was 17 I moved out and completely cut my mom off. 18 we tried to build a relationship, but my mom wasn’t there mentally. Don’t get me wrong she’s always taken care of me but I didn’t know her background of growing up. Usually it generational trauma, but I’m 20 now. Me and my mom have a great relationship, but she still gets on my nerves😂. I got into counseling and my mom did too separately. I see so much growth in the both of us, but the biggest thing I had to learn with my mom was patience because they brains don’t move as fast as us. Talking, walking, phones, etc they just don’t move as fast as us. Sometimes I feel like my mom be acting so slow, but patience sweetheart.

9:09 Waymentttttt Zoie 😂the way I hollered, I’m like did she say friend or mama cause Zoie you wild for that ratchet advice , i cackled tho 😂😂😂but I love how you elaborated on your backstory ❤ My advice Is if it’s almost a detrimental situation to your mental health take a break , no relationship is worth your mental health . But it seems like lil mama really want a relationship with her mom and you only get one , you don’t ever want to wish you could’ve said something or have a bond with someone who is no longer here. Y’all gon have differences especially as you are growing and maturing , but communication is everything. But speak with logic and take emotion out of it, that’s the only way both parties can have a resolution. Talk with each other not at. And Zoie that was good advice on voicing how she feels that way her point is not negated but ask what can be done or how can they come to a middle ground . Love you Zoie, and lil mama you and your mom gonna get it right I’m speaking that into existence for you. Don’t hide your emotions cause that’s how things get worse, remember to breath when communicating it brings you back to clear thoughts that way you can communicate with a level head and not with emotions
