Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) was born with cleidocranial dysplasia, which affect bones and teeth. In Gaten's case he was essentially born without colar bones, and front teeth I believe. Generally they have to wait until later development for any final oral surgary. So he's had various dentures and orthodonist work to prepare. I believe he's gotten his final implants at current time.

This show is based on the Montauk project and MKULTRA experiment of mind control and specifically at Montauk mind control of time travel and telekinesis and opening doors to another dimension using the mind and supposedly they claimed they were successful and found some kind of creature in that dimension, at Montauk at camp hero they used all boys to do the test on specifically blonde blue eyed boys for their mind test. But for this show they use boys and girls of all races but only eleven is left at the lab so they change it a little bit.

I don't know if you are familiar with Walkie-talkies, but only one person at a time can talk, and before you can press the transmit button, the other person has to say, "Over", and un-press their button. This is the same with all two-way radios, police radios, military radios, CB radios, etc.
