I do not know why, but I figured the apartment would resemble Whoville for the holidays. Full of fun, warmth, whimsy, and a variety of colors. My tree is pearl and gold. I bought pearl drop ornaments in the 80s and while the rest of that tree’s decorations dropped off, I kept the pearls, added gold and 30-some years later still enjoy them. It’s funny how the rest of the Christmas decorations changed, though.
