The band performed in costume as the Holy Trinity, with the Father (Lucy Dacus), the Son (Julien Baker), and the Holy Spirit (Phoebe Bridgers). The backing band of (L-to-R) Tiana Ohara, Madden Klass, Sarah Goldstone, and Melina Duterte (Jay Som) dressed as Angels. And the band's crew members walked around with red capes and devil horns.

you can really hear how much lucy loves the lyrics. like, when she sings my teeth like sutures, my mouth like a wound you can tell she's really stoked she gets to do this, and that kinda makes me cry a little bit

It is fitting that lucy chose to sing this JB song in particular when years ago she said some of her favorite lyrics from julien are from good news: "my ribs creak like wooden dining chairs" (1:20) P.s. this is by far the best boygenius show ever.

@@yourdoublechin7377EXACTLY I swear they are the only band members people care about even though more than half of the boy genius fans have never heard a julien song in there life span but because Lucy's bigger I swear this was nowhere it really annoyed me

I absolutely ADORE that you could tell no one really knew the words to overpower her voice. I've watched this over and over, she just does it so beautifully.
