I found really interesting the question about the English defeating the Spanish Armada. I am from Spain and here, instead of saying that the battle was lost, we are taught that a huge storm destroyed all the ships before even getting to the battle. Turns out history is subjective to the country :D
@Ava-wm6cv4 жыл бұрын
That is what we learned in Ireland too. Supposedly some spainish sailors washed ashore and stayed. Including one who apparently became the lover or grainneuaile, the pirate queen.
@Paul-zk2tn4 жыл бұрын
Well thats because thats what happened. England also then went on to lose a lot of their ships to a storm en route to Spain.
@velikynovgorod43584 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure both versions happened. Storm hit the armada and what survived was defeated by the British with their smaller ships.
@silver-jc4ix4 жыл бұрын
I'm Spanish too and in my school they taught us that the Spanish Armada wasn't appropriately prepared to the weather and the British were more tactically advanced so they won easily.
@MissCaraMint4 жыл бұрын
Not subjective per se, but the few ships that did survive were easy pickings for the English. This of course them became a well publisized victory. Often overstating the ammounts of ships present at the battle. Remember PR has always been important. Still there is no question that there was fighting involved.

In which of the following situations is she breaking the road transport rules? Which is the number of the medical first response? What is the beginning of the Czech national anthem? Which are the two chambers of the Czech Parliament? What's the Ombudsman's task? Mrs Svobodová's computer is broken while in warranty.
