Awesome build! If you want the smoke out the chimney in a safer way there are solutions which model train builders use, a small electrical thingy which you drip some special solution on which smokes for quite a while, quite safely, and you can easily just turn it off with a switch. Ask at a model train store and they'll know what you talk about :)

Awesome work. I think something like this would also fit into your wild West world, you would just have to put a hunter looking out from the trapdoor while a monster looms over the back of the shelter.

Loved seeing this build. The moving action of the smoke added so much to the personality of the build. Only other thing I can think of is a battery powered candle light to emulate fire through the doorway.

To be honest I don't think anyone would go out to the snow just to find some sticks but you got those sticks and you made art with what you had and that's awsome to see. Great project, I always love to watch you build stuff out of random materials like foam and things from nature

This turned out great! I love bushcrafting and crafting dioramas. I was thinking about crafting a model of Joe Robinet's fort he's been building for the past couple of years and sending it to him. Just finishing up a mill with a water wheel for my mother's birthday present. I used colored glass tiles from Michael's for the windows and I'm adding some LEDs so it will light up. Mom's gonna love it.
