My favorite part of this is that the robo-wagon walker is somehow controlled by pulling a rope left or right. That detail alone adds so much character and charm to this universe.

this diorama tells a very strong story. Two travelers crossing paths, greeting each other and maybe sharing some of their wisdom together. As crazy as it sounds, I can relate to this diorama due to the number of social games I play. I could imagine these two trappers have been through a lot, not only from monsters but also from other people in various forms, whether it be their differences with locals or straight up brigandry.

I know you said one was a trapper and one was a prospector, but for some reason with the way they've met up, I almost feel like they might be two parties that are traveling together for a brief time, both looking for the nearest town to sell their goods at and cash in so to speak. The Trapper stands at the top of the hill giving careful warnings so that prospectors wagon mech can be driven/guided up the steep slope better without falling. It's a big investment, one that neither of them could afford to lose or replace. And even though they've both solitary professions, The prospectors higher elevation on his mech wagon gives him a potential angle for sighting game trails that the trapper might miss, which helps the trapper, and the trapper in turn is able to get more pelts to sell and more meats for their trip, which in turn can help pay for repairs in emergencies. The pair work together, and the trappers donkey doesn't care about the wagon much, unbothered by it as it seems little more than a large smelly object, no different than any other machine these confounded humans decide to build. Sorry. I've found myself world building a bit after watching each of these vids.

Love the sci fi west world, I can picture how the wagons legs fold down and it would sit on the ground for access - back story is super also, the fact that you build the story of just another day shows why the trapper isn’t surprised to see the automated wagon - thanks for sharing another awesome build!

Feels like wild western steampunk, but more toned back. Like, instead of having gears everywhere and unessecary stuff, everything seems to have a purpose, at least with radio communication. I don't know, I feel like this is the best mix of random stuff to usefulness ratio.

You're probably the only Model-Tuber I've come across who uses guitar strings. I haven't thrown a dead set of strings away in well over 10 years. They're great for a multitude of purposes, from lashing irregular parts to detailing and structural reinforcement. The unwound strings are also really handy for hull/nacelle/barrel halves that don't fit perfectly. You just wrap it around, put a twist in it, and then twist the bung with some pliers until it's good and tight. Don't overdo it, though. Just twist it until the gap is gone. No further. Of course, some stainless trap/snare-wire would be better for that particular purpose, and it's cheaper than guitar strings, but a plain guitar string (preferably a G) will do in a pinch.
