We have been having very similar gloomy weather out here on the East Coast too, I don't know if it's just January or something specific but I am very much over this! Filming a natural light works so much better for me! 😂 I was definitely in high school by the time these came out, but I very much remember seeing the ads for them on television and thinking they were so cute! Maybe it's time for me to take an eBay crawl and see what kind of awesome Barbie and related dolls I missed just by being older 🤔

I'm a Kelly stan! I don't collect them but have always been obsessed with Kelly, especially the early 00s ones:) My little sister collects them though and I collect Barbies which is honestly cute af haha

I was never into Kelly dolls that were part of the Barbie line...but veterinarian Jenny and camper Marissa were just too cute! I remember when they came out with a Glinda the Good Witch doll that talked, they came out with Kelly and Tommy dolls where they were dressed as the munchkins in Munchkinland. If I remember correctly, Tommy was dressed as one of the Lollipop Guild members, and Kelly was a Lullaby League member. I also remember Ken dolls dressed as Dorothy's friends in The Wizard of Oz. There was the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. I have seen so many Barbies as movie characters. For instance, she was Tippi Hendren's character in The Birds, and another one was her as Marilyn Monroe's character in The Seven Year Itch (I think there might've been some more). Now if I was fortunate to find some dolls that look like Cher wearing the "Sonny and Cher" costumes that Bob Mackie designed that are not the ones that Mego manufactured as they suffer from the dreaded "Mego Melt" I have read about years ago. -Andrea

Hey Andrea! Oh my gosh yes! I’ve seen a lot of those Kelly & Tommy dolls online! They look adorable! Ahh those Wizard Of Oz Barbies and Kens look great too. There’s a really “rare” Dorthy Barbie I would love to own, I forget what year it was released but it was more of a “sexy” collector Barbie. @@BoyLikesDolls My psychologist (who retired in November) had two Barbie collector dolls. She had one of Sally Ride, and I think she had one of Rosa Parks.

Hopefully the gloomy weather will lift for you there soon. At least now we're in January spring will be just around the corner. Oh goodness, it’s been rainy here as well and super cold. I tried going to the park recently and my kids and I were so happy to get back to the car 🥶🥶🚗 I don’t mind the rain. You should definitely have what you like, I love dolls❤ Aw Jenny is definitely cute with the sweet bunny. Marisa is super cute with the campfire and marshmallow stick. Interesting! I certainly like the early 2000s things! Especially My Little Pony, Barbie, and a little bit of Polly Pocket! Would've probably gone for Horseland and Tinkerbell things if they'd been around a little earlier!
