great barber and great videos, been using your techniques for a while now and have really helped me, used to cut very similar to you in this video with horseshoe then block graduation then profile but find the other way you cut hair on the majority of your videos by doing horseshoe then going with clippers a lot easier and time efficient I was never good at clipper over comb until watching your videos, and even cutting front to back and back to front classic barbering has really helped me improve my cuts, keep up the good work dan

Love your videos! You make the cuts look so easy! Lol...but I tried on my boys since we are not taking them out right now...and one cried!😢 If they both have double crowns is it better to drop the horseshoe before or after? It seems to make the line at the temple/side a little off. Help!

Hi mate some advice or anyone on here can help, when i go barber and ask for a 1 sides medium and trim on top some times they go over the crown like to high with the clipper and looks shit should i be asking for a low not medium? (My hair cut is not a fade) just standard cut

You're going to a barber who can't be arsed messing about with your crown, find a better one and ask for a number one back and sides a trim on top and don't take it high on the crown. Come down to Leeds I'll sort you out 😂

It's as simple as asking the barber to leave length in the crown. If you ask and they still cut your crown off maybe it would be a good idea to find a different barber.

I don’t have children yet. But I cut my nephews hair. He has really thick curly waves it was difficult to get under the bulk especially with fidgety kids. I did decided to do a low 0.5 fade up to the a two on the sides and sort of rough sear work on the top. (I sound like I am a barber but I am not !! 😂😂 I actually work on the railway but am really into cutting, I own a wahl cordless senior and recently purchased the babyliss skeleton trimmer like yours #absolutely love that trimmer ). The blend came out really nice and I was lucky as his hair was curly enough to cover my imperfections with the shears. I really am grateful to you for giving us priceless wisdom of how to style. Beautiful cut man ❤️.. and a handsome lad !!

Just to add I faded him first then gave him a wet shear cut on top. My main worry firstly was I didn’t want to cut the kid as I feel I could be heavy handed at times. But. Thankfully with all the nervousness running through my veins I managed to pull it off. One of the most hardest cuts I’ve had to do.

I used to cut my daughter's and son's hair. My little girl hated it, but my son always pleaded every month "please cut my hair mummy!" I just wish it would have looked half as good as young Lincoln's, what an adorable little lad.

lovely haircut, my dad always used to get me this same haircut minus the design bit. I'd tell the barber I love it and then come home and cry for having such short hair because my ears stuck out and got made fun of in school. Never told anyone of it but I'd pay anything to go back in time and and tell my dad to get them pinned back so I'm not embarrassed and shy my whole school life.
