This hit me hard for many reasons. 1. My brother came out towards our family but I was the only one who actually accepted him, a year after he came out, he found his lover but on June 17 2016 he died from cancer. 2. Knowing what others do toward their LGBTQ+ family members or friends is disappointing, people should know that, we are all human and nothing can change the fact that we can make up our OWN minds when it comes to love. People try to change their thoughts and try to make a gay person straight, but it won’t change the fact that they know what they are and nobody can do anything about it. 3. And lastly, my friends are bi and lesbians so for me to watch this, hurts every bit of my happiness. My friend went through this exact thing, her father threw her out of the house at the age of 6, just because she knew she was lesbian/gay. She then moved into her moms house, she is now the happiest person ever.
