I haven't had the chance to watch the series yet, but from the mv's it looks like ji hoo is the most kind and like able version of Rui I've seen. Plus him and the main girl seem closer and have more moments together than Hana yori dango or meteor garden. I like it! ^.^

@@SamNhan i think he knew thats why he said he got late when he returned from Paris and saw Jun Pyo claiming Jandi as his girlfriend. However its not clearly shown ever. Also when he kissed Jandi it felt it was his way of reciprocating her feelings as he felt gratitude. They have left some loose ends although either deliberately or not.

@@Rons_chickenwing8 they are never shown discussing it but i can infer that apart from Jun Pyo nobody knew Jihoo having real feelings for Jandi. They all didn’t like it initially when Jihoo kissed Jandi considering she was his besg friends girl but when they saw Jandi reciprocating Jihoo they kinda accepted until Jihoo misled everyone to believe that he was doing everything to bring Jun Pyo and Jandi together and he himself was not interested in her. Jihoo had particularly kept his hands off Jandi all throughout the show but still there was hell of a chemistry between the two, way more than any other couple in the show.

Whenever i see their scenes the depth just mesmerises me. He burned throughout to light her path. That’s why his pain moved me much more than Jun Pyo crying for Jandi the entire time. BoF have changed the version of second lead from the original Manga and the other versions. Jihoo is lot more closer to Jandi and their connection is lot more deeper. The writers here did maximum justice to his character by even calling him Jandi’s soulmate still this version feels the saddest as by making this character so amazing, the trauma of him being rejected was also greatest.

If I was her I would DEFINITELY choose Ji Hoo. But in the same time I don't like Rui in HYD. Probably because I first saw Oguri Shun in HanaKimi with black hair and I couldn't get used to his new colour. But Ji Hoo is such a Prince Charming. BTW, the OST for that Drama is REALLY something.

This was one of my favourite parts, Jandi was insulted and her relationship broke with Jun Pyo and what she did was enjoyed with Jihoo. Went shopping, ate amazing food, lived with him and his friend, hopped on jihoo’s back, was accidentally watched by jihoo in the bathroom and that beautiful note of jihoo- memory deleted brought a smile on her face. Jihoo had so much impact on her, he was her first love still why she got so senseless and went for Jun Pyo. There is nothing on BOF to make it such a classic if not for Jihoo jandi relationship which always remained one sided but uniquely from both sides. Both loved each other at one point, and both of their love was unfulfilled by each other. Junpyo’s ownership kind of love never made sense to me.

Episodes 13, 14 and 15 were also really special to me. Jan Di and Ji Hoo spent a lot of time together hehehe especially in Episode 14 although just as friends not as a couple but they did spend time together. They went sightseeing around Macau, visited the mall there and Jan Di was smiling the whole time even when she was heartbroken over Jun Pyo but she had a great time with Ji Hoo during the trip. I especially loved when Ji Hoo was singing and he was staring at her as she was walking through the crowd searching for him wondering where he went and he was making money for Jan Di after she lost her wallet by giving a performance in public. I was like "Jan Di, girl he's doing it for you and the way he looks at you how can you not realize that he's in love with you?" :'(

I watched this once again. And how i wish ji hoo just ended up with jandi😭 i mean he is always there whenever jan di needs somebody . He really was her soulmate ❤️ rather than junpyu who doesnt have guts to protect his girl . If jakyeung did not back out from the wedding he wouldnt do anything for jandi i think 😂 anyway i was just not moved by junpyo's role.
