I wrestled a girl in 7th grade, she had no business being out there and I knew it. I took it easy on her and basically did what i had to do and I pinned her right before the first period ended. Her father came up to me after and said i was patronizing her. Unfortunately i had to wrestle her again a month later in our conference tournament. I pinned her in 11 seconds and her father yelled at me ( full disclosure, i looked up at him when i got up) “oh look at Mr tough guy”. If they are not experienced, they shouldn’t be out there. There are many times boys are in a no win situation.

I would never allow my son to wrestle with girls... it is very dangerous. Girl has nothing to lose but the boy has nothing to win and on the side of boy, it would be an incredible humiliation in case of defeat

You can usually tell how it's going to go in the first 5 seconds. The bad, nervous footwork so many of the girls have set them up for doom. Maybe, if they were better coached(?).

Stepping up to the line knowing that you haven't got much of a chance at winning shows gut, I know these girls aren't going to run when it hits the fan.

Girl at 10:44 was a very unhappy camper. She was obviously frustrated because she was being mauled the entire match. Not a good feeling. I thought the boy in red tights at 36:29 was the sadly weak -- he needs to get on the weights. Doubt he wins much against other boys? That girl in black was nearly as strong as he was and I thought she actually had better skills -- he pinned her but it was not pretty. Mostly she was just very skilled avoiding trouble and had a good sense of how to use her position and mass.

the girl in the 10th minute had to opportunity to pin at 9,38-9.42... then the boy take the advantage... she was ahead on the moment of pinning... so she was a bit disappointed

look at the body masses of both of them. His arms and legs and body are a lot thinner than hers and at that age boys haven't developed muscle mass yet. As you could see at the end when ref raises boy's arms, she also is taller. What a detrimental condition for the boy. Who does match these fighters? Amazing that he finally won against her
@raiklaub9752 жыл бұрын
@Dinar Namra everyone can eat as much or as little as he wants. Of course, skinny, weak fighters usually lose out to big ones with more bulk. This has nothing to do with who is what gender, but with how the fighters are selected and then pitted against each other in the fight. If you take a skinny boy to fight an older, heavier girl, chances are he'll lose. At the pre-adolescent age we're talking about, muscles don't matter. So it would be the task of the organizers not to run the thin boys in the ground as objects so that some girls get a win for free. This is unfair, unjust and does the young lads no service in their development. On the contrary. It's disgusting. But in today's male-hostile environment, that's probably just desirable. Something has to change there. Fortunately even the thinnest boys won in this video. Girls should wrestle girls. Or: the uneven treatment should have an end. If a girls looses, she is praised as a "brave girl", if she wins, she is praised as a heroe. Boys can only lose: a win is seen as disrespectful and not estimating the dignity of a girl and a lose is seen as a catastrophe, where some feminists even declare them boys as emasculated. You'll find thise toxic behaviohr against the boys in a regular frequency. Imagine this was said to a girl: efeminated by a loss against a boy. No, there js no equality and therefore there shouldn't be fights which presuppose equality.

@@raiklaub975 Agreed, that boy looked like a 106 lb wrestler and I think in this match he was wrestling UP at least one weight class? That girl must have been 113 or maybe even 120 lb -- I'll guess 113? She was definitely dominating in the first period although the only points she scored were on her take down. You could say that she had a chance, at least to turn him near the end of that period? But in the second period the boy had a reversal and a take down and he was leading 4 - 3 when he was able to snatch her in a cradle from the standing position (51:51) and used that to set up a pin (52:12). I give the boy credit that was a pretty cool pin against a bigger opponent. But IMHO, he needs to workout on the weights more and build some upper body muscle?

@@Mandolin1944 all wrestlers should work out, nearly all of them do. But in prepubertal boys, the muscles don't really grow because of the low testosterone. Now he has won despite his opponent's physical superiority and there is probably no need to worry about him. When he gets older, he can become really good and strong.
