In Fact what's the point? Everyone knows that Frida Kahlo was born in Mexico. I could have chosen another icon But I chose Frida rather than another, which necessarily includes Mexican art so Mexico where she lived by extension. Personally I'm just a makeup artist fan, of Frida who have tried to convey the love I have for this inspiring icon of art. If you don't notice that the choice of music is sad. According to you, we are necessarily obliged to present it on Mexican music? and why not Indian, Spanish or German? Small reminder: Frida Khalo is mixed. Moreover, she has already made paint on this subject. For sure she revolutionized Mexican art but she was a child of the world with multiple origins. So your comment is quite closed-minded, stereotypical, and really not inclusive. All this to tell you that I do not see the purpose of your comment. aside from gratuitous negativity. I don't see the harm in having a Spanish music to present a Mexican artist of mixed origins. Really, it is big big deal? really?? I think there are more important struggles in life. Especially when Mexico is the largest Spanish speaking state in the world. According to official statistics, 90% of Mexicans speak Spanish as their mother language.
