She agreed with me that their individual tones and pitches were awesome but it was Mike's bass that brought it all together. On songs where most might not notice his parts she would point out and call her favorite parts. Mom never dropped an album but Michael Bolton used to call my mom to personally beg for her to do duets with him in concert. If she stamped it it's sealed. Best sound my generation heard.
