The Gap Band used a Vocoder 35 years ago, E,W&F used the Vocorder on the voice of "Let's Groove", Rufus used a talk box on the guitar on "Tell Me Something Good", Sly and The Family Stone used a rhythm machine on a few of their most famous tracks, Miles Davis sometimes used a wah-wah pedel on his trumpet in the 1970s. C'mon, now.

First of all, Philly represent. Second, Angela Griffin's expression at :34 means what beautiful music is really about. Performing live like this touches the heart, is like cooking with real organic ingredients and knowing what you are doing from beginning to end. I look forward to people going back to live, unaided performance as the standard for most music. I'm not against all electronics but they cannot substitute for the human heart and soul. Boyz II Men received countless praises over the years but you know they appreciated Angela's words and it shows in their smiles at :45.

Nobody in history before or since then could ever harmonize like them. They defined a generation of true love songs. Without them there would be no Neyo’s or Chris brown’s. Diddy wouldn’t be making the band. I bet there’s over 100 million kids that owe their being brought into this world because their parents listened to them while doing the deed. And they are the most humble people. They never got into any bad shit when they got famous, never treated women like objects, never let their morals take a dip
