I remember seeing them when they dined at the restaurant that I was worked at in Magic Kingdom. They were both very nice and he was very gracious when I told him that I was a Boyzone fan. His face was very angelic!

Some might think so, but there is absolutely no shame in being afraid of the dark, man or woman, and being as sensitive as Steo was and actually seeing a ghost when he was young, I can definitely understand how he would feel very uneasy forever after that. I also loved the way he was so honest and upfront about his life experiences, made him more beautiful to me. Miss you everyday of my life sweetest one, sadness will always prevail in my world, will never get over the loss. You may be gone, but you will never ever be forgotten. RIP Steo xxxx

This wonderful interview has made me love Stephen even more. He was clearly a sweet, incredible human being and Andrew seems the same. I so regret that I didn't even discover Stephen and Boyzone until very recently and fell immediately in love. I was and am still devastated to find out that he had passed. Cowles seems to be a genuinely warm and kind man. The six years he and Gately had together is more than a lot of people get to have. It's very sad Gately is gone but we are left with all the good he shared with the world.

We were really close friends, until I moved away from the UK, years before he met Stephen. Really sad reading some of the stuff written about him here, but comforting to see that other people can read him like he is. Will never forget him telling me, back in 2001, about his dream of getting married in Vegas. Can't even consider him having done it with Stephen, hadn't he been in love with him.

What a great guy. You can see why Steven loved him so much. 5 days until the anniversary of him leaving us. I think everyone should buy some sky lanterns and let them go for him. It would bright up the night sky so he wasn't scared and knew people are still thinking about him. :-) R.I.P Steven.

S H, exactly. There's nothing wrong with being afraid of the dark or being childish, no matter if you're a man or a woman, gay or not. That's why I loved him so much, that childish, innocent and pure soul that Steo was. He achieved so much in his short life, not just in the music and acting business, but in the world of helping those in need, more than any of the rest of us have done in our whole entire lives. He was one in a million, and I am very proud of him for achieving what he set out to achieve, one could say he lived life to the absolute full, more than anyone else on this Earth. I am very sad that he is no longer with us and I just wish there were more like him in the world, cos it would make it a better place to live in.

I discovered Boyzone only about a week ago, and I got hooked. But reading more and more about Stephen’s death, I’m having mix feelings about the incident and have more questions than answers. One example: if they were cuddling that night in the sofa, would he not notice that Stephen is not moving and not breathing? And when he was going to their bedroom, why did he not just lift and carry Stephen to their bed, why did he left him on the sofa? My suspicion then was that he and their guest for that night would have sex while Stephen is “ asleep”? I have so many questions that I could not easily believed that Stephen died of natural causes. We must remember that Stephen was a millionaire. And that book? By hook or by crook he will get the book finished and published. Of course, royalties will keep coming as long as it sells. Oh, I’m sorry.

@jhauserfla The official pathology report by Spanish authority released in 12/09 said that Stephen died from an acute pulmonary oedema caused by the atheromatosis. He collapsed and dead almost immediately from a heart attack. He was dead approx. 8 hours before he was discovered, which put the time around 5am. Andrew was asleep with him in the couch for more than 3 hours in the couch.

hi Siobhan... i just watched the interview just now.....i agree with you there is something not right about Andrew..he seems to be fake, i watch people and i think im good at figuring them out....and for being up stairs having it off with some one else while Stephen was dyeing .on the couch what a ********** ......he may have loved Stephen (which you hope was true for Stephens heart to believe) but Andrew didnt show any emotion in the interview...if i had lost the person that was my soul partner i would still be heart broken..and there would be still tears...i spose he would have inherited Stephens money and everything else..... so he must be really happy doesnt have to do anything ...i spose he is having a fantastic time sleeping with as many men as he can get..... rest in peace Stephen ..the good are always taken to soon.....

When Andrew and the Boyz were taken to the chapel of rest in Majorca to see Steo Andrew collapsed and Ronan had to catch him-poor guy :( As for Karen Cooper's comment well is she going on the words of the slimebag who said he'd tell his story if he was paid tens of thousands, and besides, what people get up to in private is their business-does not mean they weren't in love, listen to it, Andrew is choked up here. Ella Garvey, anyone can fake being sad, especially those who are guilty who don't want to get found out. You can't tell me that something sinister didn't go down that night whereby Cowles & that Bulgarian didn't do Steo in. They both told different versions of what happened and how they discovered his body, plus telling untruths about what Steo was supposedly doing on that fateful night. He'd never been drunk or taken drugs before when he was alive, always staying fit & healthy and looking after himself, so why start on that fateful night hey? I don't buy it the fact that he died of natural causes, and as far as I'm concerned they're both scum. And why in God's name can't people just leave Steo to rest in peace? The poor guy deserves nothing but the utmost respect & dignity in death as he did in life. Hopefully we find out the truth in time and that justice for Steo will be served.
