Funny how we look back at that pain of the past almost fondly with nostalgia and think it was a necessary lesson of life. In the end we are all getting older and those past relationships got us to where we are today. I miss a few of the really good ones that were in my life. I'm sorry I hurt them. I was so young and at the time very foolish.

My father passed away in 1979 when I was only 8. My Mom amazingly carried on strong with just me and my older sister and we still had many good times after because my mother refused to let herself or her children mope. This song reminds me of sitting in the back seat of my Mom's '79 Trans Am going to the beach in the summer of '80 or '81 with the Urban Cowboy 8track playing on the car stereo. Sadly we lost my sister in 1989 at 24. Lost my Mom in 2022 at 77, so it's just me now. This song takes me back to the happier times being in that Trans Am with them both. Makes me feel like they are still with me. Then the song ends and I am back in my current reality. I can never get those times back or experience it again.

It's both a blessing and a curse to have such great memories. My aunt Liz had a 76 Trans AM (if the car was still around, we'd be the same age). It was white, and Tull this day Pontiac Trans Am / Firebird are my dream cars. I have vivid memories of hearing Arthur's Theme by Christopher Cross. Jeff Porcaro (Toto) played drums on this song and Arthur's Theme. My heart goes out to you. I can feel that.

Just thinking how much this song means to me .. I was 14 when I met my husband he was 17 .. We dated for 3 1/2 years .. I found out I was pregnant when I was 16 1/2 by 17 I was a young mom and he was a young dad . We started out at a very young age . Through the years we had 2 more children , a girl and one more boy ! We have been married 34 years and in November our Olds’s son will be 34, our daughter is now 30, and our youngest son is 27 .. God has bless us so much through the years . We had a lot of ups and downs , but not one time did we ever separate , even thought about a divorce . We now have 8 grand babies . Our family has grown and so has our love for each other . He is my soulmate always has been , with Gods help we are the one in a few that has made it through the thing called life and we are still enjoying ours !

Thank the Lord I met my wife at the local skating rink one night. We started dating my 11th grade. We married in March of 1983 . This yr we’ve been together 38 yrs . We either hear someone making a rap album laced with nothing but antisocial Behavior, profanity, and sexual degradation. Or we hear about some country girl down-on-her-luck who has no man who has children out of wedlock and is looking for someone to rescue her. Or we just have incessant screaming and they call that a song. This is real music

@@raymondastacio5975 do you know that amen is actually corruption of the Buddhist chant OM as "jai guru deva om. It's supposed to be healing frequency. The Catholics also use this chant as in "aaaarmen". The Christian religion which is actually based on ancient astrological worship . Christianity is a defacto sun worship cult. The 12 apostles are in reality the 12 astrological signs. The Christian fish bumper sticker represents Pisces which was visible during the age of jesus. 2500 years before that we were in tha age of Taurus 🐂 hence the golden calf in the tale of moses and the Minoan bull of ancient middle eastern and Greek mythology We are currently in the age of aquarius. ..jesus spoke about the coming of "the water carrier" representing the coming age of aquarius.
