Great mix. super nice selection. Question, how does the Bozak compare to the Radius 4 valve?

Thank you. The Bozak AR-4 has more emphasis on the high frequencies than the Radius4V, and It is a lighter sound. The Radius4V has better frequency balance and great tube coloration, but can be a bit heavy depending on the source. Both have their own characteristics, but I think the Radius 4V is more difficult to handle.

Great mix as usual. I am curious how the fx send works on this mixer as there is no knob/control that I can see on the mixer for fx. Is it purely controlled by the output level on the pedal/fx unit?

Thank you. Bozak AR-4 does not have a knob to control the amount of send, so you have to use the mix knob of the fx unit to control dry or wet. So, you need to choose a good quality fx unit to keep the sound quality.

Just plug the Y cable (trs - ts) into the loop send and return.

But after I connected it, when I press the cue button, the sound that should only be heard by the headset can be heard through the external speaker. What's wrong with this? Sorry, no idea. That is unusual behavior. If the type of cable and connections are correct, it could be an internal wiring problem, so take a video and send it to Bozak for consultation.

How is the pitch on those 1200gs compared to mk2s? I always wondered about it??? Much difference...I have 3 pairs, M5gs, Mk5s and Mk2s and there is a huge difference from the M5gs to the others...please let me know how you feel about that pitch!? Thanks

I've only used mk2 and mk5 in nightclubs, so I honestly don't remember enough to compare them. I used to have mk3d and the pitch control was easy to do, I think 1200g has a pitch fader that is more difficult to control subtly. I didn't compare them at the same time, so I can't be sure.

I wonder how's the sound quality of this mixer vs the UREI?

I do not own a UREI, so I cannot make an exact comparison. I will tell you based on my memory of past use and comparison videos on KZbin. UREI has a soft, straightforward sound. It is danceable and you can listen to it for a long time. However, this is the case for those in good condition. On the other hand, Bozak AR-4 is clearer and has a wider frequency range with more lows and highs. It has a slightly unique groove. If you are used to Pioneer DJMs, you will feel more comfortable mixing with the UREI.
