From a recital in May of 2022 featuring Tom Hooten and the LA Phil trumpet section. Rebecca Wilt, piano. Sorry for the grainy video - I had to video capture in order to grab just the Bozza.

Incredible live performance! Jim’s playing is both so clean and musical, and piano accompaniment doesn’t get any better than Rebecca’s. Thanks for making this available for the world to hear.

Thank you so much Jim. Some of the most effortless sounding trumpet playing I’ve ever heard. Ever-inspiring just as you were when I visited you a few years ago. Best wishes from Australia.

Have you heard they are trying to bring back the band to Clintondale?? Contact Keith Kaminski please! He could use your help promoting the idea! The young need talent like you to inspire the next great talent like you!! Please Jim! They are also trying to put together an alumni band of performance!!

Thanks so much, Steve. Regarding the band - I didn’t realize the program had been canceled. What a shame. There were some great players and people that went through there. Many went on to be pros or teachers, which is more than I can say about the athletic program.

@@jimwilt4944 it’s been cancelled for years but people like Jay, Blasius, Keith, Kaminsky, and even Laura Villasurda are all on board trying to support bringing the band program back. They’re talking about trying to get an alumni of past graduates that I have gone on and become great musicians and teachers. Would be great to have someone of your caliber help support the comeback of the Clintondale band!

@@jimwilt4944 Yes, it certainly was! Time flys, and I’ve been retired from the orchestra for 3 years. I still play everyday, but often I need a little inspiration to get motivated. Listening to your superb performances on line always raise the bar and gets me going….so, thanks and Bravo, Jim! You sound great!

I have it on a Google drive, but do not feel I can make that choice - there are four other people involved in the performances.

What a joy to hear you play! Your solo was inspired and had me thinking: Maybe next time you could play “so low” that I can’t hear you.😂 Truly wonderful! Maybe one day I’ll experience it in person.
