Several of us " Senior" players here in Indy, have changed our philosophy on hitting from watching your video's. For an old guy to change decades of behavior, is saying you can teach an old dog new tricks. Although my average dipped a little for a minute, I stuck to "Tylers tips" and am now seeing the benefits, thanks keep it up!

Really like how he said the size of your step depends on where the ball is pitched to make so you can hit the ball in your spot!!

Videos like this are so helpful to the players that want to get better. When I was younger, I would watch any video I could find of great softball hitters. Taking video of myself and then comparing my swing to guys like Johnny McCraw hoping to see improvements in myself. This type of video would be so valuable to a young me. Hell, it still is.

The Warning at the start was crucial cause when u hear someone like KP talk about hitting ur tempted to change ur whole swing

Why did I think KP was going to be like caveman and just say, "Big man, hit bombs." That guy knows hitting and how to articulate his swings better than most.

I've learned more this year watching your BP videos than I have in years. As an "old timer" now I have awakened what once was years ago. The importance of BP reps with and without T work has really improved my swing utilizing what you and your team teach here. Thanks!

I watched all the hitting with nation bps and I went from doing horrible my first year of slowpitch and batting 8th to being thr best hitter on my team and batting 4th with already 6hr in fall ball. I can't thank you enough man! Really has made a huge difference in my swing!

The one handed swing is definitely something I’m trying. I’ve been trying to work on my hips and the tips on driving your knee more will help a lot. Love all the BP videos but this one had the most applicable tips out of all of them so far.
@Mike.G7002 ай бұрын
A lot of great hitting advice here Cole! Aside from the big leg kick, alot of these tips in the video are baseball related and I’m happy to see they still work in slowpitch. I was told a long time ago my baseball swing wouldn’t work in slowpitch! As someone who tried to master the “cut” slowpitch swing I found myself being to inconsistent and went back to my baseball swing and blended it with a slowpitch swing ( standing taller with a bigger leg kick) I call it my “hybrid swing” and that has been successful thus far! This video just confirmed that! Thanks!

Probably the best/most informative video you can find on the internet of KP breaking things down. Good work all around! Thx Cole.

Thanks for the great video, lots of useful tips throughout. I saved this to rewatch again since there's so much good info. The thing that probably helped me the most was the "knee trigger" tips. I don't use my lower body/hips well, but used that cue during my last BP and def felt some improvement. Keep the great content coming!

Great video. I love the whole BP series. I'm going to have to give the knee drive some work now that it has been shown and explained. Always able to take something from the videos striaght to bp to get my swing better. Appreciate the time and dedication on getting these videos out to benefit all of us.

This video was so informative honestly. I have been making adjustments to my swing all year and I think some of the things KP talked about will help a lot. Like I have recently moved all the way to the front of the plate and it has caused me to miss hit/hit pop ups. Moving back to my natural baseball position might remedy that. Some of the warm-up drills to start bp might benefit me as well to keep my hands high and on plane. We appreciate this content for sure

So much valuable information in this video. I will definitely be trying out the inverted top hand in my next bp session. Also, it was great to hear that you guys do bp more than play league games, as I started doing that a year ago and definitely noticed a big difference in my execution during tournaments. Thank you so much for this video, please keep them coming!

KP is an absolute tank, it would be terrifying to field one of those screamers from him! His leg drive is really something I have been trying to focus on myself, though I am going to have to watch this video a few more times to understand what he's getting at with the back knee drive thing and that little gem at the end with "heel to the pitcher." Thanks for making this one!

Heel to the pitcher and focusing on driving the back knee towards the front calf has really helped me out this past week! I'd been in a funk of hitting it off the handle and I believe that knee to calf helped me with getting my hips around. I was ripping the ball better than I have in a long time this past week! Even hit my first true dinger! Almost had another one and I didn't even barrel it.

the point KP made where he mentioned swinging at the first pitch multiple at bats in a row… lower level pitchers are going to notice that even if you’re swinging at strikes 3/5 at bats. there will be a point in time where someone throws the flat-fast pitch and you’ll roll over. always nice to take a step back and watch one, make the pitcher work harder to get you out!
