Love the BPS Knives. Got these 3, plus the B1, 2FTS, 3FTS and HK 5. Fun to collect, but every one of them are razor sharp and functional.

Yeah, those look a bit German to me too

They're straight lines like all the other letters. A lot easier to burn/etch in that way. Coincidentally, this is also one of the reasons why the English and Germanic languages originally used the runic alphabet rather than Latin.

Ah, BPS Knives, hard to stop at buying one. I have two myself, and the next one will be the BS2FTS, it reminds me of a Kephart knife, but alot cheaper. I use my BS1FTS in the kitchen all the time. For both food prep, and as a steak knife, great little knife. Keep em sharp. Laters. I've pretty much decided I am going to Brown the blade of my Savage. Not just put a patina on it. Now I just have to figure out how.

There's a difference between striking a ferro rod and striking flint .As long as you have a sharp edge, it does not matter if it's stainless or carbon, you can get sparks with a ferro rod , on the other hand, you can, on average only strike sparks from a stone like flint with a carbon blade ,people confuse the uses of carbon and stainless steels .God bless you and your family...lee

Do some cool stuff in the woods. Like your scripture reading! 😔 I think your small knife has a slight curve in the top and mirror polish. Take a file to the top edge, bet you’ll see a big improvement. Keep up the sticks for Bismarck. 😜

Thanks for the review I just became a BPS dealer to sell at shows excited to get them. Free State of TN just don't try to use your 1st Amendment Right lol But hey that's why we have the 2nd to protect all of our rights Ans is that a painting van outside my house on a Sunday that's odd wait says ATF never heard of that paint company lol :-)

lmao! Yes, that 1st amendment freedom has some strings attached today lol! you might be able to say it but society will cancel thy self lmao! glad you enjoyed the knives and congrats on the dealer allocation! IT should be an easy seller!

The type of steel is irrelevant when using a ferro rod....you can throw sparks off of one with a piece of broken glass. You do need high carbon steel if you're using flint for real "old school" fire making....I made my flint strikers from old files.

Is it a Tennessee thing to chew gum while making a video? Slightly annoying. But, I very much like your enthusiasm.
