The police have a 99% straight away turn up to record when it comes to someone legally recording in public ,shame records show in 2024 they can take up to 28 hours to turn up to burglaries if they even turn up at all !!!! What an unprofessional company in my opinion, the way they treat a member of the public doing a lawful activity is disgrace in itself! I can understand that they would be or should be twitchy as their cartridges are primarily used to kill animals, but their security is virtually non existent and amateur. Whenever they "request" that you not fly your drone over, it pains me that you don't ask them how much they're willing to compensate you for such a service. I'd even go so far as printing out a simple contract you can invite them to sign.

Would be even better if you printed it out and laminated it. Then you can get it out anytime the police do arrive. Just tell them to hold a second as you get it out of the rucksack. Then let them continue their interrogation. Don't show them what you are ticking off till the end. Will prove to them that you were prepared, did your due diligence, and highlighted that they are so predictable.
