What a match... As a Pole I got many heart attacks and cursed the whole match, because I was angry at some of the Polish players after some stupid mistakes. At the end I have to say congratulations to the both teams: both Poland and Brazil for the amazing game that kept us in suspense from the first to the last ball of the match. Also congratulations for Thailand for organising the great tournament and the great Thai volleyball fans. You made the great atmosfere during the matches. 👏👏👏 Don't worry Brazil - you have an amazing team with amazing players like Gabi - man this girl is fire, what a great athlete. It is great sportsmanship I guess, but why don't you stop smiling for a bit and work harder and start climbing in the world rankings. When our athletes go to play in foreign leagues, they really shine. But when in the country, Thai coaches can't fix the game and always put them in the wrong position. Thai coaches are selected through a connection system. And the association is very bad. Thai people can only expel the association and demand foreign coaches.

@@johno.7791 Onestly i don't agree. The modern volleyball (and victories related to modern volleyball) are based on "occasions" too. Brasil team is extremely extremely strong and i'm sure they will have a medal on Paris. It happens to lose against teams with a complitely different game. Ok Japan is not so physical...but the biggest characteristic of Japan game (defense a part) is the super fast game/fast attack...and brasilians middle blocker suffered a lot of that. They lost 2-3 against Poland and Japan...but it happens!!! Brasil performed a stunning VNL...and as i said, Brasil has a lot of incredible players...

It's a good match to watch. Well done Poland. It looked like the players and the supporters of each team had moments of doubt who'd be the winner. Lavarini and his team have done excellent job. They were able to select and coach a team of players from outside top 10 to the world top 4 within 2 years time. It must be disappointing for the Brazil fans to see the best group phase team returning home without a medal. The Olympic tournament will be very entertaining. There's at least 5 teams that may win a medal.

heartbreaking for Brazil, reminds me of my past game when I'm almost there winning the gold medal but because I was distracted by the thought that I might lose, at the most crucial part at that. Yeah, I must compose myself however, the fear prevailed and I lose. I haven't recover from that loss yet and the fact that I still have a game for silver medal made it even worse as the history might repeat itself, just like back then I'm playing for gold but lose and playing for silver but lose. I haven't regain my mindset and that lead me to lose the game heartbreaking, I just feel the same for Brazil but I know they have strong mentality unlike me, I hope they will think of that game as motivation to even work harder, to recover, and to comeback stronger, best wishes for team Brazil. I could already tell how hard Poland had practiced throughout the Turkish vs Poland match. But Gabi today was also on a whole another level. Like that one save she did with the Kick!!!!
