I got to run grader plowing leases and lease roads in the oilfields out west one winter. It was fun going to work and satisfying plowing that snow. Good investment

Did you end up using chains ever? And if so, did you use them on all 4 tires, or just the rear?

Did not need to use chains that season, we’ll see what this winter gives us. I have a feeling I’ll be dealing with more ice, but we’ll see.

If the shoes are adjusted so that the blade is half inch high on a level surface, you shouldn't have too much problem with digging up the gravel. My snowblower is set like that. Unfortunately, most of the equipment at work isn't so gravel areas are interesting.

Hey ducky - good hearing from you! Now that the rain melted everything today, I took a closer look and saw that i didn’t scrap as much gravel as I thought. I will adjust the shoes that half inch as you suggested

Im impressed with you video. your HD7 looked like it did an excellent job plowing snow. your driveway is very similar to my driveway only difference is you have an incline in front of your house while mine is at the end of the driveway. did your can am have any trouble plowing? Im asking because Im in the market for a side by side for plowing. would love the HD9 or HD10 but they're a little out of my price range

Didn’t have any issues last year even with snowdrifts. Base wasn’t icy so tires were able to get traction. Was very pleased with results and time savings.
