Thats not check though? Im confused
@toxxickillerzz51142 жыл бұрын
@@Mario-dx3tk i think it is because when you launch the bishop to take the pawn, it creates a threat to checkmate the black king in one move with Qg7# so you essentially are forced to take the bishop but by moving the bishop the rook can now see the queen meaning that you win the queen or win the game via checkmate

Saw a cool possibility at 1:33:26 where if you drop back with Qc4+, and they take the pawn with king you win their queen by check with pawn. And if they drop their king back you get the free extra move of continuing to double up rooks, as well as unpinning your own. Maybe not a great idea but still just made me smile

1:07:13 I think Qf3 is a blunder because f8 is covered twice by queen and rook, right?
@connormcgartland77143 жыл бұрын
No, not a blunder. You’re right that f8 is covered, but if the rook takes rook on e5 then Qf7 check is winning forcing Kh8 followed by Qg7#, and if queen takes rook then Qf7, Kh8, Qxe8#
