I have also struggled with the auto soap dispensers. The issue is entry angle and velocity. Like you, I am of shorter stature and I move my hands quickly. You will have more success if you tilt your hand at a 45 deg angle and smoothly slide it under the dispenser.

I don't even know if you have a LIMIT holdem game option to choose from but That would keep a low stack a live too ! It also pisses off the PLO high variance players who have a strong need for speed and action. TIP: If you have problems with soap dispensing.. you can put little tiny hand wipe packets in your man purse or pocket to wipe your hands off. Its probably much better to use anyway.
