Yes: Dinosaur names are Latin. Also yes: Dinosaur names are still pronounced differently across languages. So please, for the love of Braechiosaurus, stop commenting: "dinosaur names aren't English, they're Latin", because it doesn't change anything.

The funny part about this is that you actually pronounced it correctly as BRAE-chiosaurus. The medical field uses the word “brachio” as a prefix for various anatomical terms related to the upper arm (e.g. brachiocephalic). It’s all derived from the same scientific nomenclature.

If you make the math, the "schedule" seems to be every 5 days for each species field guide. In the original video I pointed out that the neck/head animation during 0:15 - 0:20 was a little... awkward. Imo that looks more like something from an animatronic than a "real" living being, and I remembered also the little clipping on the triceratops animation. I believe these are just "final", yet unpolished, animations and that the end product at lunch would do better :)

@justmonika23453 жыл бұрын
It looks like on the Triceratops they are using a primary color and secondary color system. Primary color tends to cover the majority of a subject. Secondary color would cover the intricate parts of a subject. (In this case, the frill of a Triceratops) If this color system is what we are observing correctly in the game, then dinosaurs like the Stegosaurus could be modified to have different colored plates by use of their secondary color.
@GooberThe4th3 жыл бұрын

Fun fact: the first times I heard English speaker people pronunce the name of the dinosaur in english, since their name are in latin or ancient greek which I both knew/knew how to pronunce, I found it very disturbing. Gradually, with time, I started to not care anymore and adapt and know I found the english pronunciation cuter even if not exactly correct. So don't worry, most of the people who criticize you probably don't know how to pronunce the names themselves. Like, it's not "...-sore-us" but more like "...s aʊ- rus". So, yeah, don't worry too much :D

They should add small things like a bullet that is meant to kill a dinosaur and a kill switch like in operation genesis. You should be able to put a tracker on a dinosaur when incubating it, it will not show up on the map If you choose not to add one. They should make different diseases have different effects on dinosaurs like a disease that will keep your dinosaurs from eating anything and rabies will make your dinosaur go mad attacking it's own species and break out. Dinos should gain more and more battle scars and broken teeth and horns the more battles it fights in, this would give some incentive to fight dinos since a T-rex with a scar on its eye looks cooler then a non-scared healthy T-rex.
