It always take a little bit of luck for any team to make the Super Bowl. A lot has to go right while also being healthy. This team go have its ups and downs throughout the season but you hope when that down does come it doesn’t break this team.

By far the deepest roster I’ve ever seen us have in the 30 years of die-hard fandom I’ve been with the lions. Been a day one fan blessed in by my father who’s from Detroit and I’ve known any other team. I’ve been through ALL the brutal lows, and the few and far in between highs (basically last year). This is going to be a very special season folks, mark my words

Only part of the DB group that concerns me is, they have not played together as a group yet, due to just sitting, or injuries. If it takes a few games to start to gel together, fans will have a fit when it's not a shutdown defensive backfield from the get go

So many things need to go right. Ball bouces, refs calls, injuries. The one thing we do know is that we have a heck of a team for years, and a SuperBowl is certainly within reach.

Yep, *for years*. That was the huge part of their promise and I'm sure precludes them from making risky money deals on non-character guys - you can see this with your own eyes, and I love it. Winning a super bowl won't be a shock over the next few years.

We really don’t want Jared to get hurt because the only thing Hooker has over Goff is that he can extend plays and run with the football. Hooker still has to develop and learn behind Goff.
