This medley comes from the Ozark, specifically the Morrisons. Fate Morrison would play this. I play it this way too as does my wife. The Morrison family taught Brad a lot of tunes. Their family heritage stretches back to the American Revolution where they were fiddlers in the army. A lot of tunes come from them. They taught Jimmy driftwood and others in the area. I learned this from one of my mentors Martin Darrell and his mentor Glenn Morrison when I was staying in Fox AR. There was a commune in the holler all those old timers fiddled dances in back in the day including Jimmy and the Morrisons. I met my wife there. Beautiful place and people.
