Yes, pretty good system. The bonus being that their AHL team is in the city and has access to the best training facilities .

Stop with the Minten trade talk. Think again who we lost because we let them go for nothing. Mason Marchment, Trevor Moore, Verhaeghe etc. He will also be the cheapest 2nd/3rd line two way center for 3 years. Why not a responsible defensive forward who has 20 to 30 goal potential. WE have NO CAP room. Go with the prospects like Knies last year to see what we have. We need defence and goaltending. Retool this year and fill holes next year when we have cap space.

Not really, a lot of people, like myself, just start like that because it feels more natural to shoot right, and maybe nobody corrected them. I think the majority of right hand shots are naturally right hand dominant.

He's a 2 time first team all-star and Selke finalist who has repeatedly led the Leafs in points. He may not be a 'superstar' but he is waaaaaay above average pal. Some of this fan base has let their hatred for the guy cloud their judgement of his talent. He'll be gone soon enough, and then we'll see how much better the team really is.

Superstar is definitely a stretch. An all-star is probably a more accurate description of him. If he had some snarl in his game and was a playoff performer then yes, he’d be a superstar.
