As someone who freezes up under pressure I felt so bad for Mackenzie! 😢It’s so hard to simply “move” when you’re anxious end then over thinking and then in your head your hating yourself for not moving and then added pressure from outside forces makes it even worse. Your mind is yelling at your body to move and it won’t budge 😭😭

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks McKenzie’s solo was clearly Asia’s choreography! Kelly and Christi claimed that it always was meant to be McKenzie’s solo on their podcast but from the moment I saw the first walk I had a feeling Asia was meant to do that dance.

The constant villainizing of Christi is actually crazy. Like I know she did and said some things that weren’t great, but she always took responsibility of that and apologized when she knew she was in the wrong. And Leslie and a lot of the other moms never do that. Like Leslie was literally saying Christi acts like the victim all the time, but she’s honestly just projecting her own behavior at that point because SHE is the one that constantly acts like the victim.

Brad, the reason Abby has said that they edited around Ally being in the nationals group dance is because the producers said they didn’t want Abby to bring her in for the dance but she did anyway, so they just tried to make it look like she wasn’t there.

Fun fact about the 'Dance Doctor' solo: the costume was actually one of Maddie's old ones from a group dance before the show! It was set to that 'Attention Dr. Beat' song, and had Brandon (Brooke's old duet partner) as Dr. Beat and the girls in the heart costumes. There's no video since it was was from 2008, but there's pictures online. Asia's puppy costume from her first episodes was also from an old Maddie solo called 'Big Bow Wow' which is on KZbin!

Leslie actually alleges the fight was pre planned because they needed an excuse to send Christi home, so that she could go on a vacation with her family. You casn see producers leading them onto the streets in some shots, and Christi said that the fight was her fault, though never admitted the vacation thing. ALSO, they can only do 4 or 5 numbers.

Christi said on their podcast that it was untrue, Christi, Kelly, Holly, and Melissa have admitted to not participating or ending pre-planned family vacations so that their daughters could go on a flight to dance for Abby in another state. Christi was never going to go on the family vacation UNTIL Abby kicked her and Leslie out, then Kelly said to Christi "well now you can actually go on a family vacation for once" and that's why Christi said "Hot damn lucky me!" While laughing because it took for her to get into a physical fight for her to be able to actually participate in family activities.

I don’t really watch the show but it’s interesting to watch like this. From an outsider’s perspective, it appears like Abby was looking for any excuse not to let Chloe dance at Nationals. She beat Maddie the previous year so she didn’t want that to even be an option this time. She was setting up the ‘I’ll teach you all the same choreo’ first of all so that she would only have to choose certain people to dance (I assume it was Kendall or Chloe?) but then Christi and Leslie getting into it gave her the perfect excuse.

@@ItsJustAshe fr i always hated it. i’m from the coastal mid-atlantic region and i still hate it so much. this season’s nationals group dance is so forgettable and they knew that playing the katrina card would bring home the big win. the national win feels undeserved with the dance. cathy’s as well. the one thing i will compliment is kendall’s “voodoo doll”, i think that that piece could have been danced anywhere and scored highly, it feels more developed than a group dance screaming “KATRINA!!!” or “VOODOO!!!!”, i generally don’t like the dances chosen this nationals and i think that voodoo doll will always be my exception because kendall absolutely nailed everything and made it seem more like a proper strong dance vs. some kitschy number thrown together for the purpose of pandering only.

I just finished Deep Dives Dance Mom videos and wow....just wow. All of the disgusting things that happened on this show...wow From the lawsuits from smuggling money to Paige's lawsuit against Abby for physical abuse, the contracts and what their parents had to do to get their kids safe and protected, the BTS history between all of the moms, the lack of money that they all made, the blackmailing, etc. Etc.
