Visited Valley Parade last year to pay respects at the Memorial and put down a scarf to represent my Club, Cardiff City. Always saddened me that people went to a football match that day , just like I do most weekends, but they never went home. RIP. x

I watched it happening live on tv, it was one of those around the grounds reports and it was just as this was unfolding, what we witnessed will live with us forever the images imprinted on my brain, god bless everyone taken their families and friends and every single person affected by that terrible day.

It wasn't live on tv as they didn't do that sort of reporting from grounds then. World of Sport would normally just show wrestling, and put up latest scores. The game was being recored for highlights later that evening, so they rushed the recording to the studio and played it, about half an hour later, possibly without checking the content first.

Missed that match thank goodness and have never been to Valley Parade since although l still lookout for their results
