India should Bat first if they win the toss. Rohit should open with Rahul and Jaiswal should come at No.4 and Kohli should bat at No 5 Intermittent rain is forecast on second and third day so second bowling would be an advantage. As rain is forecast, India should go with additional fast bowler instead of Reddy. India should put batting onus on Top 6 and should not select Reddy for his batting as Jadega can do that role. Who should be 4th fast bowler is an open question?

NKR has to be replaced by Prasidh. Former's bowling is cannon fodder. NKR has not exactly set the world on fire with his batting either, he has done OK but yet to score even a half century. He ramped a short ball from Cummins to third man when he had just been placed for exactly that shot. That shows his alertness as a batter is questionable.

@@vinayscorpio321 how many games he's played in aus and sa after becoming opener he's played 4 tests but 2 in south africa were very ordinary pitches where south africa got bowled out for 55.it was that difficult.but chokli hasn't done much home or away in the last few years.
