One of the best live acts I ever saw. I wasn't a raver, but these guys crossed boundaries. It was so hard-core, they were almost like the Metallica of rave acts. the beats were always killer, as well. Almost impossible to not move to their tracks

The Prodigy is one of the very few bands who managed to cross genres to be as appreciated in the UK metal scene as they were in the UK dance scene. They were groundbreaking at the time, and their visual style definitely appealed to the rebellious metal and punk worlds. I **almost** saw them play at Donington rock festival in 2006, I say almost because we couldn't get anywhere near the stage they were on. They should have been on the main stage because there were thousands upon thousands of people trying to watch them. In the end we had to stand about 50 feet outside of the tent and just enjoy what we could hear. lol RIP Keef.

I’ve seen Prodigy 4 times live in the UK. It is one of only a few gigs I’ve been to where I have been able to both hit the mosh pit and then move along to the rave area. You normally notice with their gigs that the fans of a few different music genres are in attendance. You can easily see a 90’s raver chatting with a punk rocker and a techno head whilst getting a beer 🍺 😁✌️.

There was a car company in UK called TVR , at one time a lot of celebrities wanted one but there was a waiting list, the owner Peter Wheeler would sell cars to celebrities but only if he liked them, which was very few, most never got chance to jump the queue but .... the Prodigy went to visit him and you would have thought these guys would have no chance but Peter liked them a lot, they were humble, normal, good guys and he really liked Keith, the one who looked the wildest on the videos and the unforgettable impact he made with the Firestarter video. God bless Keith..... I really wish he was still here.

Keith Flint was sort of like a dancer for the Prodigy. He would get the crowd worked up and put on a bit of a show/energy (along with the other members) to accompany the DJing of Liam Howlett. He didn't really have any musical background or skills, just an avid fan/raver of the era. Some years into their career, Keith asked to write and sing on this track. He wrote about himself, as a "Firestarter" (showman) for the Prodigy. The song was a hit, the vocals are iconic and Keith sort of transcended to the frontman for the Prodigy and was the vocalist on a number of other songs.
