"The breath was the main thing, that's the key, my way into him. How you breathe determines everything no matter what your emotional state is. You always got to make sure you're breathing to be connected" I find this such an important thing and much more complex than one may think. The way you breath determines how you connect and your health, the way you live therefore. It is not an obvious thing and i just realized it recently. When for any reason we feel unconfortable, sad, stressed, in any sort of "dark room", if we are not trained to this, i guess one of the first thing we(the body) do is to breath less, slower and maybe taking in less air. We dont easily realize this, but it has a lot of consequences on us. I wonder if he does yoga or other kind of discipline, id love to know. Besides, what a thoughtful persona and i love how he refers so many times to music,eg listening the person's he was going to interpret playlist or saying Eastwood is a jazz man. You can say how music was relevant and part of his life all the time, and it led to imagine his late film too i guess, "A star is born" To me there is also interestingly such a strong "feminine" part on his mental constructions, and even somehow in his looks, and i mean it in a positive sense:)) it is odd for me no one notices that, without denying he is also very masculine and attractive too:) But there is a sensibility, empathy, ability to analyze even the smallest deatils, hard to find commonly in men. (not saying in a comparative or reducing way, and of course we are not defined by sex, neither it means fixed characters, but i really believe some characteristics can be usually found more in the feminine element, and viceversa. He even quote the character's love for Jane Austen with those sparkling eyes...never seen a man loving her that way😅

Your analysis of this interview is spot on. Bradley Cooper, for me is one of the most genuine, humble and down to earth actors - I never tire of listening to his interviews. This one, I feel, is up there with the best. I really like the way he opens up about his experiences; something he rarely does. The skills of the interviewer definitely encouraged Bradley to talk much more openly than I have seen him do before. You wonder if he does yoga - I know he has said that he meditates and this comes across in the way he responds to others. He also speaks of being grateful for so much in his life. As you say, his feminine side shows too - I agree with this. He's just a lovely person.

Unless you are trained in counseling the type of help being offered can be more about you playing the hero than the person you are trying to help. True or not, I am certain that is what his killer perceived. That "you don't care about me. You care about making yourself feel less shitty." Combine that potential for volatile perception with deadly weapons.... it was bound to end in tragedy.
