this is so sad bit I love it. it's so sad waking up and knowing I will never get to meet my personal idol in person. ever since I heard his music and learned more about him all I have ever wanted to do was be like him and it doesn't help that his spirit moved on one year before I was born.

Ohhhh how I miss his creativity, incredible voice, innovative sound and the way he captivated my complete attention. They are one of my Husband and my favorite bands. We loved hangin out in the cabins in Rosarito where they hung o back in the day! RIP Bradley and may he be watching over their new endevour with Rome. I see it as a true celebration of what was planted by Bradley and is now flowering with the same melody. But he is truly missed and will never be forgotten. Good luck guys! XOXOX

I found out about Sublime about a year after Bradley died when I was 8 or 9.. I'm 22 now and let me just say I have not had such a consistent, sincere friend in my entire life that can compare to Bradley and the music of Sublime. The influence Sublime has had in my life is profound.. What they created is far more than just music for me.

I feel that I connect to his music deeply so I wanted to get a tattoo to always remember him and his beautiful music, but I didn't want to associate my tattoo with sublime with Rome. So on my forearm for the whole world to see, I got Bradley Nowell 1968-1996 and sublime underneath it...because Bradley was Sublime.

i feel that ive had an idea in my head for a tat for Bradley for along time. id like a very realistic tattoo of the scene from the Santeria video where louie is looking into the sky and see's Bradley. change it up a little bit because if you go back and watch that video it looks kinda silly because of the shitty editing of that time but yeah thats something that id really like at some point, but i have such a deep love for Bradley's music that it has to be perfect. i cant just let any scratcher bumfuck with a gun put my hero, who's honestly saved my life in more than one way, many times, on my body permanently. i just havent had the money or the time yet. but one day.

I remember buying the self titled sublime tape and listening to it over and over again in jr high and high school about 10 years ago. i still love listening to the old sublime hits specially 40oz which is a masterpiece. i look forward to the new sublime with rome album and hope to catch them on tour. I never caught sublime, but i saw the Long Beach Dub All starts at warped tour years ago and it was an amazing experience. Favorite song: New song

At least Bud quit now and he said he realized that it was wrong to reform without Brad.
@HotDogBunN2YG
@HotDogBunN2YG 4 жыл бұрын
@Laflare i have nothing for eric or bud at this point. he quit because he had banked enough money off of Bradley's name. you need to remember that these were the same people who wouldnt get out of bed and go down to the beach with Bradley, where he ended up going back to his room and shooting up for the last time. fuck bud and eric, they were making music with a man who even though would come off, even in the saddest songs as a positive person. you cant tell me they didnt understand the issue among them. they were to into partying to care. you can watch live performances towards the end of his life where you could tell he was struggling to even get on stage and they didn't care. they didn't care about the music because they were gonna get paid regardless. its sad because the power of Bradley's voice alone was something magical.

RIP BRAD , if I could pick any musician in history to bring back it would be you not because you put your heart into the music but because you put it into life as well. A lot of questions for why no one said maybe stop shooting up? rehab,, he wrote songs about it and I guess it is just a paycheck for eric and bud, they got some new guy now. His wife asked please dont start this again, what did they do?

brad died and the world was left wanting more... That let's you know he was going to change the music industry especially being denied & kicked out by record producers. He was going set the world on fire but a phoenix always burns up too soon. One day, his sound & connection with the darkside/underbelly of society will reconnect. in his wok just before robbin' the hood he actually started that dubstep crap kids listen too LOL! Tough to infuse reggae, hip hop, punk rock (which every main stream artist has lost connection with), and the rock n roll lifestyle sublime lived... they loved their fans, they loved what they did & they loved their music. today, I would love someone to find an artist that loves their own song. You can tell brad loved everything he made bc it was from his heart & soul. AND that's why there isn't a sublime out there today... what kid will grow up in long beach to become a reggae/punk rock star? They wont because of gangs & racists, at least. White guy performin hip hop/reggae/punk rock/dub style... California used to be the heart of inspiration.. now its the opposite of freedom & its oppression/repression of ideas. Can a white guy sing about "date rape"??? can a white guy sing about "prostitution/wrong way"?? but a white guy can sing about using drugs and having sex with hoes... wake up Hollywood let people live & creativity will flow like a flood to your doorstep.

+Tyler Sanchez ( Sublime - Marley Medley ) or the original is corner stone by Bob Marley
@Fobrestreppo
@Fobrestreppo 7 жыл бұрын
Tyler Sanchez The Stome That the Builder Refused is the song by Bob Marley. He wrote it after being rejected by his white father. The Marleys(Bobs Fathers family) were the most successful Building/Construction company in Jamaica . One day Bob decided to go to their office and ask to borrow money to record an album. Being that his father never admitted to having a Black Child, everyone in the office denied him the loan even though there were whispers of how much he looked like his father. After bob became a superstar , he wrote that song as a Screw You to them. Bob being the corner stone , the strongest best most important part of a building, and the builder being his father.. hope you enjoyed my lil trip into the Early life of Robert Nesta Marley RIP Bob, and Bradley

He got enough money to fix his head until they call him back, I try to avoid anger even as a devoted Christian/Athlete but man FUCK those guys, used Brad so poorly. I know how junkies work and the blood is on their hands as much as Brad did it to himself. He was trying to manage a rockstar life,a wife and newborn. I wish I'd never heard Brad sing or play I get so mad/sad every time, RIP Brad and lets all pray Jacob avoids dirty sh!t and keeps playing guitar.
