But he said a few times that he didn't see it as a symbol of hatred and supremacy, but more like a symbol of southern heritage and rebellion against society. In the 90's, some artists and Tv Shows used it that way too. Today, the flag is a sign of rebellion for absolutely nobody, and it's just another reminder of the south's tragic past and modern-day supremacy.

I’m with you on that boat man. The fancy tapping shit just isn’t that cool to me. Guitarists nowadays need to play some damn power chords and focus on writing good songs.

You just don’t like it because it’s not what you grew up listening to and/or playing, has no bearing on whether it’s objectively good sounding or not. There’s a reason this new style hasn’t just died out, it’s because there are people for whom it actually sounds good and neat. And it happens to be that most of them are younger. Familiarity bias isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but if you don’t acknowledge it’s there you will end up with clouded judgments.

@@hamabrewer you're right I didn't grow up with it. It's OK if I find it generic and not very interesting. Lots of people like and that's cool. Not everyone needs to like everything new.

@@hamabrewer As i said, i HATE polyphia, never said they werent talented. I play for over 23 years and will never in a 100 years be as good as Tim, but that shit doesnt sound good to ME, feel free to like whatever you want. There´s many things i didnt grew up listening to and love it..It´s just a matter of taste, some like and others dont´ simple as it can be ;)

Maybe your best video yet. Those were pretty much spot on and I LOVE most of those guitarists. Great tribute to Her Majesty!
