Although I practice BJJ and have added it to my arsenal in my mma journey, it’s different when you’re getting punched in the face. I think BJJ is effective when you’re just doing a straight up grappling match but on the streets or in an MMA cage, that’s where your wrestling comes into play. I always encourage young kids to start wrestling or do judo because those incorporate more of a way to get a fight to the ground in a way where now you can use your BJJ. In the cage you’re not going to want to pull guard like you normally would in a BJJ match. The top champions (majority) across the world and platforms in MMA have a dominant wrestling background.
@aidenfielding97093 жыл бұрын
@@alisteroidthecheatertestos964 going to the ground in a street fight is a huge no no, the ground is the last place you want to be going, leaves you vulnerable and open to getting stomped on by any mates the other guy may have, for street fighting, just learn striking, muay thai would be optimal, teaches you abit of everything, punches, kicks, knees, elbows, clinch
