Nice clean fun. No resorting to vulgarity. That's why I've always loved Tim Vine.

Yeah I took my 11 year old to see him at the Bloomsbury theatre last night he loves him and it’s good to laugh at stand up with him as most others are blue

I like vulgarity and swearing in comedy within context and reason, but Yeah, Tim is proof it's not needed in great comedy, and despite Cleese being a master of the cuss-out who Tim is a fan of, He made the decision to keep it lowkey and clean. Gotta respect that in a genre full of word-play and surrealism.. very very VERY little innuendo is a superb talent in it's own right. Tim's rated high in my comedy AND music fanhood, he's the king of dad jokes, and the non-combative folk-hero of professional 'loonies'. for example- the ladder song.. is quite beautiful really.. in a silly way :) as for my box.. mines full of albums.. lol

Just in case anyone doesn't know, what we call sprinkles in a lot of the US, not sure about Canada, never asked, is called Hundreds and Thousands in the UK.

Mr Vine is low-key genius. I've seen a lot of acts in my time, but nobody does surrealist dad-jokes like Tim.. and come on now.. his daft wee songs, are sociological satire.. and really quite beautiful in silly ways... the ladder song he ends with is maybe my fave.. i mean.. hidden depth there.. social commentary done subtle. The guy is actually brilliant.

He looks Irish but he’s a London Cockney. Now my mam came from Limerick because her father came for work in Manchester…… United….So us Mancs know a cockney geezer. After Peter Kay Al Murray and Tim Vine he’s my 4th. Love you too.
@symbionet2 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t call him a cockney he is from Cheam they are Cheamonians. Cheam is originally Surrey it only became part of greater London in the 1960s. In theory to be a true cockney you have to be born in earshot of Bow Bells

Hey! I love your channel! If you don't mind my asking, where in Canada so you live? I'm from and currently live in Atlanta, Georgia in the southeastern United States. However, I'm very much considering moving to another country either in 2024 or in 2025. Honestly, my choices are either Brazil (I have some very good friends there) or Canada. I have never been to the Eastern part of Canada hitherto. Been to Vancouver...Am thinking Toronto or a suburb of Toronto. I've wanted to experience Toronto and even Montreal for that matter for many, many years now.

@@bradlucyI've been doing that Ancestry DNA thing and have connected with my dad's distant cousin who lives in aurora, nr Toronto Ontario. 7 of my G.G grandfather's siblings ALL emigrated to Canada in the 19th century, only he stayed here. Also my mums side went to middlesex County Ontario in the 1800s, so any Laughtons, or Taylors over there just may be related to us! Would love to get over there sometime. Canada's alway been pretty high on my list of place to visit!
