And this is why I love my hair being so forgiving. I've dyed my hair so much and it was very recently red and just yesterday I went to get it all bleached and it came out amazing with little to no damage and I am loving it.

a few years ago i went from bright red to platinum blonde in one go!! i got this little packet from sally’s called unred, it was 99 cents, after i mixed up my lightener i opened the packet and squeezed it all in then mixed it in thoroughly, i did one bleach with that & it was a perfect pale yellow, i toned it after and you would not even be able to tell my hair was bright red earlier that day. a few months later i did the same w one of my friends, she had bright ass red hair as well, and got the same outcome!! it was super easy and i was so thankful to only have to do one round of bleach, definitely recommend.

Hey Brad, our colour removers here in the UK are similar to a perming process. Keratin bonds broken with step 1, colour rinsed out, bonds repaired with step two. I've stripped colour using Bleach, and Colour remover, and I'd definitely say that colour remover is less damaging, which has always meant I haven't had to "beat the hair up" with bleach as much 😂 also, the hair always feels really good after using a Colour remover. Imagining the step 2 process works to repair all broken bonds, not just the ones broken in step 1, similar to an olaplex 3 treatment. The brand used in this video was Superdrug Colour Remover, but I usually find the cheapest colour remover is the best, £1.99 from a store called Savers, for anyone in the comments in the UK and having a hair dilemma 😂

Colour b4 is a godsend. I've had all the hair colours imaginable and colour b4 has removed them all - I get the extra strength one. On the downside it stinks of eggy farts and the scent sticks in your hair for a few washes

I hate that stuff! It made my lavender/grey hair green after applying it. I had to dye my hair red and brown because the hairdresser was unable to remove the green.

@@Elophee yeah and he doesn't seem to know how it works. It's not bleach! It shrinks dye molecules and then you wash them out! If you *follow the directions exactly* then you get fantastic results like she did! I wasn't surprised by her blonde at all 🙄

I’m 50 years old and fucked up my hair more times than I can count when I was a teenager. One of the best things ever to strip your hair was prell shampoo that used to come in a tube. I don’t know if you can get that original formula anymore- it was green and it could take the paint off the walls!no joke. Thank you Brad! I just love your videos- they make my day😍

that colour B4 is so popular in the UK it really works wonders. I used this remove colour from my hair that had been purple, silver, pink and blue and it lifted it right up. I also have afro hair so it very dry and it caused no damage at all and it didnt feel stripped it contains no bleach.

The box colour removers in england are actually quite good. They dont touch natural hair colour and dont damage that much. Always managed to get rid of ginge and red very easy with them
