I'm going to bleach my hair (hopefully within the next couple days) anyway my mom is doing it for me and I have multiple colors in my hair :( (I have natural red/orange hair (roots), black, and some purple.) @magnumAenus2 жыл бұрын
@@le4864 basically everything he say in the video, do to an extreme T. sectioning and making sure to start from the bottom, and *never ever* start from the roots, and treat your hair as if you were doing a Karen's hair, *extremely careful* if youre dying under your hair or the back, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AT LEAST THREE MIRRORS or somebody to help you hold the mirrors/guide your hand when you need help. NEVER BLEACH YOUR HAIR WET. that will **definitely** make your hair fall off, do it when your hair is dry and unwashed. i start start by brushing my hair out and then sectioning it. always start in 1-inch segments starting from the bottom of the strip of hair, then going upwards and leaving another 1inch of hair away from the roots. follow the directions on your bleach instructions. if you have black/dark brown hair like me, i leave the bleach on until it develops to a brown similar to mahogany brown, then i wash it out with *warm* water like Brad says. and if youre planning to go platinum blond, do each session at least in 3-4 day waits. it may seem to look bad but thats okay. because if you bleach it one day after the next, your hair will burn off. sorry if the reply is a little long, i tried to list off my process as best as i could :') i hope it helps!

In defense of the first girl, I don't think she had any previous color on it. I had the same exact experience trying to box dye my ends blonde. I have very dark brown hair (though I've been *accused* of dying it black bc of how dark it is) and I knew lifting any color would be difficult. Still, I thought only concentrating it on my ends would help, I also left it in wayy longer than the box said, and I saw nearly ZERO change. You could only tell it got a little lighter (still dark brown) when it was straightened AND in sunlight. Biggest oof moment lmao. (For ref. I have wavy hair and am hispanic)

QUESTION!! okay so my hair has grown out (lowkey a lot) and i want it to all be light so i can put color on it , but im so scared about dyeing my roots bc when the hair lays im worried the bleach will get on other pieces of my hair and my hair is already light enough it’s just the grown out roots that need bleach. how do you do your roots without getting it to touch any of the rest of your hair you DONT need bleach on
@abileneburics9602 жыл бұрын
@@journeetaylor3024 so I use one of the flat and wide brushes, and I do about 6-8 sections of hair. And honestly all I do is carefully place the bleach on the new hair.. I know some are lying.It’s just after coloring hair so many times you learn what kind of results to expect with certain techniques and products.The second girls hair was very patchy and her roots were in fact bleached.when she did her “final reveal” you can see her roots were grown out about a quarter inch.and magically her hair was even elsewhere.....and ends trimmed as well.so I believe she went to a professional to fix it and possibly waited to post her video?but that’s why people need to be careful who they’re taking hair advice from because a lot of people will not admit what they actually did.kind of the blind leading the blind.please just go to school or go to a professional.Because it will save you a lot of time money and sanity.❤️ If you really want to do it yourself.Just take time to do research and quite simply follow the manufacturers instructions please.Avoid using box dyes.

I bleached my own roots from black to light yellow yesterday! I've got no overlaps and no spotting. I also managed to get rid of uneven bands from last time someone did my roots and it didn't lift enough. But I also was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, so there's that.

They were dark in some spots but that was in the back the top of her head was white how does it go white to dark with bleach and toner. Answer, it doesnt
@daijaaki2 жыл бұрын
Maybe ! however she did tone her roots as well and they were slightly darker than the rest of her hair. She also applied it on the roots first so it’s possible that her roots got toned to the darker color or maybe she’s fooling us 😅😂

@RR47112 жыл бұрын
The first box dye was only a toner and that’s why it didn’t lift any colour. It did say upto 8 weeks colour on the box (toner is more of a technical term not used on products sold in the supermarket). Nordic blonde is the only box dye I’ve come across that is actually designed to lift colour.

I never understood how some people never do their research before dyeing their hair. Even when I was 13 years old in 2010 and KZbin didn’t have that many hair tutorials yet, I still read pages, instructions, articles and talked to hairstylists before starting to dye my hair. How are you gonna make tiktoks, film and edit a whole KZbin video, but can’t take 15 minutes of your day to research on KZbin or Google on how to go blonde at home? How are you gonna apply semi permanent blonde hairdye on brown/black hair and expect it to go white? Are you serious? *These girls are so clueless, sorry, not sorry.*

you shouldn't do it, curly hair is naturally dry so with bleach ur just gonna dry it out more and it might look good right after you do it but after a few weeks it's gonna feel so damaged and dry. save yourself the pain and just get a cute blonde wig

If it’s a slow gradual process and if you find a stylist who specializes in color and curly hair you will get there girl! Or if you’re feeling nervous just add some highlights in and see how that goes first. Just be prepared for the maintenance that follows which is lots of hair masks and conditioning.
