Dude, I'm addicted to these videos. Planning my first trip with a buddy for next year. Love the content man

This trainer is intense. Love his detail instead of just smashing through the workout. And you’re looking good, Brad. A month training brings results 📈👍🏻🥊

Suggestion Brad at 10:15 the instructor tells you to use your hip more to land the roundhouse kick better: try pivoting more on your lead / standing leg. Aim to get 90 degrees or so to the left. This will help open up your hips to all the kick to land via your shin and will help kick through the pads, not stop when they hit the pads

Yo Brad! Just arrived on the street. I'll be doing some beginner Muay Thai and Western Boxing from tomorrow at Tiger until Friday. If you want to record some footage or would like a free cameraman, I'd be happy to help. Eric

Appreciate the offer! Leaving Fitness street after Friday?

So, let me ask you an honest question. Out of all gyms you’ve been to, which gym is the best in your opinion (overall experience)? And why?
@BradNewton Жыл бұрын
I usually pick a gym for trainers that I like and work with well, and have a good relationship with. So it's Bangtao, Dragon Muay Thai, and Tiger - but because they each have trainers that I have good rapport with. In saying that, Bangtao for the small community feel of the gym - the Hickman lads have done a phenomenal job at creating a solid community there.

hey! Excellent video! I have a question to you, wich team do you prefer Tiger Muay Thai or Bangtao? I saw that you trained in both.
@BradNewton Жыл бұрын
Both for different reasons...

Hey Brad, I'll be going to Phuket for about a month to train. Do you know any PTs that will create a program for you to get the most out of training? I want a trainer that will tell you what to train each day (footwork on Monday, explosiveness Tuesday etc.). Because I feel that just going to Phuket and training random classes might not be the best approach.
@BradNewton2 жыл бұрын
Good Q... if you stick to one trainer then they'll "develop" you over time. They won't 'write' a program like a coach would write a training plan.
