i fished lake 3 on friday with my two companions fishing lake 4 ,we all caught shit loads . i had 9 different variety of fishes ..chub, skimmer, barbel, crusian,common,roach,perch, ide, and gudgeon ...amazing days fishing..thoroughly recommend this place...took me about 50 mins to get to from rochdale...well worth a visit again me thinks...

there is also trout in these waters i fish at bradshaw lake 2 for the big fish and lake 4 for bags of 10lb+ carp, chub, skimmer, barbel, crusian,roach,perch, ide and the trout

I use to fish this place all the time and let me tell you it has gone right down hill and it cost 8 pound to fish a single rod. The video looks professional but it’s run by a bunch off hill Billy’s .number four was well over stocked with a load off lipless carp from 4 to 12 pound then sum 1 took over made the place look nice put a heap more small carp in then all the old stock died. And the sad thing is the mentality off the staff is if they die just by more. The canal aka 9 and 10 use to fish great when the old owner had it loads of ghost carp in there was a treat to fish. New owner got it started digging it out in winter fished it season after all the fish were stressed dead or dying that was 5 year or more ago went up A few week ago and the water was a toxic blue meaning that after all that time they still not got that bloody water right. Sad cos I use spend half ma life down there. And all the time I was there the biggest fish I seen was 19 pound. So don’t listen to there is 20 pound fish in there coz the water quality ain’t right.

Not been here in a while but have a match here at the weekend & previous weights suggest otherwise & blue hue is through aluminium sulphate to help maintain water quality & help brakedown harmful deposits 🎣✨️

i seen a 25 pounder come out of lake 2 the other day....infact I've seen quite a few 20s come out. i really only ever fish lake 2 though. Yeah most of the fish are battered but then if they restock it with new fish they will end up the same in no time. I've watched videos of the match men kicking fish out the net its disgraceful. But personally i like the place and its only down the road from me

Price is right. You shouldn't put a price on a good days Fishing those cane rods will never get a bend in them, e bye gum 🎣✨️
